Throwbacks: Guess Your Moments

Throwbacks transforms your photo library into a fun and nostalgic guessing game where your own memories take center stage. Each game pulls three random photos from your gallery, challenging you to guess when and where each moment happened. From the beach trip five summers ago to that blurry concert shot—can you remember the exact date and place? HOW IT WORKS • Every game pulls random photos from your library: 3 by default, or 5, 7 or 10. • Pick the date on a timeline and drop a pin on the map. • Every round is scored on how close your date and pin were. • Finish the game and earn a rank: Diamond, Gold, Silver or Bronze. Chain good games together to build a streak. DAILY CHALLENGE A new set of your own photos every day, with twists mixed in. • Scroll – the photo is zoomed in, so pan around to find clues • Zoom – a locked close-up with almost no context • Time – only 30 seconds to guess the date and the place Add the home screen widget to see today's first photo and start the challenge with one tap. Missed a day? Catch up in the Challenge Archive. SEND A THROWBACK TO FRIENDS Pick photos from your library and text them to friends or family as a game. See who remembers your trips, parties and holidays best, or surprise them with moments they forgot. When you finish a game, share your score and dare them to beat it. MORE GAME MODES • Classic Mode – the original game with no twists • Daily Discovery – curated photos from around the globe, new every day, with a Discovery Archive to play past sets • Scroll, Zoom and Time Challenges – play any twist whenever you want • Random Challenges – a surprise twist on every photo • Chill Mode – 10-minute rounds with no pressure • No Locations – play photos that have no location, then add their locations when the game ends TOOLS FOR YOUR PHOTO LIBRARY • Manage Photos – delete photos you don't want, or fix a photo's date and location • Add Locations – tag photos that have no location with a map pin, a place search, or the location of a photo taken around the same time, then tag the nearby photos in one go • Hidden Dates – keep a specific day, month or year out of your games • Prioritize Album Photos – show photos from your albums more often Your past is waiting. Whether you're guessing vacation selfies, family holidays, or blurry food pics from 2018, Throwbacks is the ultimate trip down memory lane—one guess at a time.
