Good app, good idea, some comments for improvement

I like it, just a few suggestions.

First, the date fields should have the option of exact specification in addition to start and finish years, whether the entry relates to a person, event, or document.

Second, a user should be able to specify more than one tag in the tag box without those multiple tags then being grouped together in single lines on the tag list. The tag list should be a clean list of each individual tag, one tag per line, regardless of whether more than one tag is assigned to a given entry. Now the tag list is cluttered, so the value of the tags as shortcut identifiers is decreased.

Third, one should be able to refer to the tags list when creating an entry and select the desired tags for that entry without having to type the tag names in the tag box for the entry. Again, similarly, the value of a tag is to quickly categorize entries without unnecessary typing time.

Fourth, and least important, the tags should be easier to create. Instead of the β€œ# XX #” format, it should be β€œ#X”, which I strongly suspect is the standard form for tags across applications, at least in the U.S. At any rate, tags should be quick entries, not any more onerous to enter.

Missing AD and BC options

App is okay. It would be a lot better if the user could AD and BC dates to the timeline.
