Used to work great. All I see now is this wheelie thingie going around. Even with todays update there is not any results when choosing a locations tides. The wheel thingie does not appear anymore.

When you visit a new location or add a tide station, the device needs access to the internet to download tidal data from our servers. It is possible the data servers were offline when a new station was chosen; please try again when online. If the problem persists, you may have to delete the app from your iPad device and reinstall from the App Store. Once data is obtained from a station, the app will continue to work even when offline or in airplane mode.

It is not working properly

I’ve downloaded this app off of the App Store several times to make sure I had the latest and cleanest version. Notwithstanding, it seems to go into a perpetual search for data and uploading data. It runs endlessly, seemingly trying to update data. Very disappointing.

Please try the latest version of the app. Your device needs to be online with an internet connection when first visiting a tide station. After the initial data update, the device will work offline for stations that you have already visited or bookmarked.

Dropped locations

Might have added locations, but also dropped some locations
lost and gonelost and gone

Missing locations

As other users have noted, this app continues to miss locations. (e.g. Marshall Hall, Potomac River, Maryland). Early on this was excusable, but the app really needs to be updated to include all stations.

All NOAA tide stations are included in the app. "Marshall Hall, MD" (Station Id 8579542, lat 38.655, Lon -87.977) is included. Stations are listed in alphabetical order, or you can search in the 'Maryland' state listing or 'East Coast' regional listing. The titles used in the app are the same as the NOAA station name, which sometimes changes over time.

Use for sailing Chesapeake

App provides a selection of numerous stations. Scroll down to see selected stations. Arrow denotes current time of day for tides.

AUTOMATIC UP

MOST IPAD OR IPHONES NOW HAVE THE AUTOMATIC UP FEATURE WHICH WHEN TURNED ON OR ROTATED IS AUTOMATICALLY EASILY READABLE BECAUSE THE SCREEN ROTATES UP. THIS WOULD ENHANCE THE APP..

Great tide tables for USA but thin on the rest of the world.

Disappointing

Tide heights appear accurate, but times for Maui appear to assume daylight savings time, which Hawaii does not have. Hence, times are off by one hour. This makes me question what else is incorrect. Sorry.

Tide table

Simple to use,works good. Would like to see a graph chart, and in can,t get info on morro bay calif. Tides 20 miles north and 20 miles south of the harbor I use but can't get morro bay.

Wish I had it sooner but also wish it rotated

As a photographer on the seacoast, I don't know why I waited so long to get an app like this. I have it on my iPad and it is great. You can search for locations based on where you are on from a large list of specific beaches, harbors, etc...

My only complaint is that it doesn't rotate when the iPad is turned on its side. I work in landscape mode a lot and wish this was an option.
