Easy to look at. Not easy to program.
I like how this app gets right to the point (unlike the Wolfram Alpha tide app). But programming it to accept a new location was difficult, and I have had to settle for measurements in meters, because the tool for switching to other units doesnβt seem to work.
Canβt add ports so app is useless so far
The list of Your Ports comes pre-stocked with a place I never heard of. There are no instructions. I press the menu button and it opens Your Ports (no other options). I press the plus sign button, and nothing happens. Have tried multiple times over several days.
The Best!
Use this app to set the ramp at the ferry terminal.
Love the scrolling time feature!
Please don't change it!!

Ok app
Any info help with a sailboat fixed keel
Nice Graphics, but...
Bugs:
1. Can't scroll to future days.
2. App doesn't take local time zone into account. It seems to be stuck on EST.

Love it, But...
I want to select another date, but have to wait until midnight.
Other than that it looks good and is accurate.

Absolutely useless
Can't view anything but today. No currents. No near me feature. Good thing it is free, I dumped it!
Hawaii missing
Hawaii tides missing :(
Needs a fix for dates
Seems like a good app for tides, but has a flaw that only allows the current date to be seen. Trying to changes days by clicking on the date causes the app to quit.
Crash
Serious problems with this app on iPad Mini. It was always a pain to navigate dates. Now the drop down calendar has disappeared and the app crashes every time I touch the date.

Simple
Very easy to use, simple to understand. Use for fishing Eastern Florida inshore flats. Seems to be accurate for my use.
Very Good
Works well and easily understood. Only issue is that it appears the 24 Hour clock is not constant and sometimes shows AM and PM in the tide times. Otherwise a nice implementation.
Nope
Tide time seems accurate tide height is 4' too high. Puget sound / substation. Looking ahead, calendar defaults to May 2015. Deleting app.
Tides are offset and not correct
I am looking at Puget Sound tide stations like Seattle and Friday Harbor and they are clearly offset by about 5 hours. This makes the app unreliable and useless. On top of that there are no settings for feet instead of meters for units.
Handy App
Nice clean looking app thanks!!
I too would like to be able to swipe to advance the date.
Also, the drop down calendar defaults to next year not the current date.

Great Tides App
In my view, it would be perfect if it had the ability to swipe to see future and past days in addition to clicking the calendar. It currently takes a long time to see the next day.
App displays wrong units of measurement
I looked up the tidal data for Santa Monica, CA. The app displayed 5.4M for the high tide. The NOAA data feed was actually 5.4 feet. There was no way to specify which units of measurement should be used. In the United States the default measurement should be feet. If the app is going to use M as the unit of measure then the data should be converted accordingly.
Also I second the comment that secondary stations should be added.

Needs Hawaii
Thanks for publishing this app. It has the US, Canada, and some in South America, but to be useful to me it needs Hawaii. Please take a look at adding Hawaii...
Great! Has Canadian Stations
Very useful! One of few apps with BC (Canada) tide stations.
Really nice but missing my ports
I like it. It's ultra simple and it does what it does to, at least apparent perfection. I did not yet compare with official tables, and I'd like to know where it gets its data from but there's no "contact us" button in the app. It seems to know the tides in a year from now but even the gov't of Canada won't publish tables that far ahead.
It's missing my main ports of interest: inside the St-Lawrence gulf and estuary as well as the Saguenay river. I do a lot of diving and kayaking there and tides are far from negligible.
I'm glad for you I gave you 99 cents but it won't be much use to me until I get my ports. It would be nice to know what ports you list before we buy.
