Ad Boosts Are Detrimental

It’s not surprising that every single “reward” and boost requires watch an ad. One could even tolerate such an ad break requiring a second or even a third ad. But in what realm does it make sense for the game itself to continue while you’re stuck watching multiple ads? Enemy troops that had just spawned before the ad break were at my base the instant the break finished. Literally got solo’d, base health from 172 to 0, while watching an ad. I read a review that claimed passing level 10 was impossible, but game activity occurring while watching an ad? “Rigged” comes to mind.
