Player changes channel by itself

First the good. Thanks for fixing the issue with search result selection.
Now the bad. Why whenever a stream fails the player changes channel? It’s maddening to have to fight the app when I want to watch something. The player should resume playing the channel If and when the streaming resumes. If you really think this is a good feature you should at least leave the option to us. Thanks

Latest update completely broke the app for me

The latest update broke the app on my Apple TV HD on ios18. App barely launches now and then cannot select any tile and just hangs….as it that wasn’t enough, if you are lucky enough to get to a playlist, it will shows as not available even though at the same time it’s playing fine on a different player.

Hi, We’ve noted your feedback. To be candid, since the initial release, your approach has been one of the most challenging we’ve encountered. Always posting repetitive negative reviews isn’t constructive and won’t help resolve any issues! You’re, of course, free to keep posting reviews in this style, but if you genuinely want support, please contact us directly at support@tilfaz.app. This is the proper channel for technical assistance.

Fantastica

Latest update broke a few things

Going to content tab and hitting refresh, once the media have been cached (and streams found), the tab still shows no content and good luck hitting the dismiss button in that screen. It cannot be selected. I’m sure there are playable streams because when going to the library page videos play.
And then one nagging bug still hasn’t been squashed: when channel surfing using the back and forward arrows ifrom within the player, the player overlay does not fade away. I have to select the X button - but not click it - to make it go away.

Much improved but one nagging bug

Much improved

The last few updates have addressed most outstanding bugs and issues. Sometimes after switching several playlists it becomes a little sluggish but relaunching the app solves it.
As it stands, this app is a very good IPTV player/manager. I would like to see more attention given to UI and UX. The recent settings for appearance are a step in the right direction but it would be great to have a better and more user friendly source switcher for those managing multiple IPTV playlists. an overlay in the player to be able to surf channels would also be a very welcome addition.

Why???

For the life of me I can’t understand why with the new player update if video playback fails, channel screen goes to black and stream does not resume. To resume video, one must hit play or change channel and come back. Why not auto resuming video playback when stream is back??

Why???

Latest version introduced a new bug: when selecting any playlist, the library tab is completely blank instead of displaying the recently watched. It only works with the first playlist selected after launching the app. No luck with any one after that. When changing channel using the back/forward buttons in the player, the player graphic icons no longer fade. This is not the case when selecting a channel to watch while outside the player. With new player update if video playback fails, channel video freezes and stream does not resume. To resume video, one must hit play or change channel and come back. Why not auto resuming video playback when stream is back??

Still not quite there

Thank you for fixing the “continue watching” section. A new bug has come up. When changing channel using the back/forward buttons in the player, the player graphic icons no longer fade. This is not the case when selecting a channel to watch while outside the player.
New player update no longer starts playing the next channel or video in the channel list when video playback fails. However, equally frustrating, if video playback fails, channel shows a black screen and stream does not resume. To resume video, one must hit play or change channel and come back. Why not auto resuming video playback when stream is back??

Why not auto resuming video playback when stream is back?? Also, the section “continue watching” is no longer updated with the last-watched channels so not sure what it’s used for. Talking about the new player, it oils be great to be able to exit just by hitting the menu/back remote button.

Still not quite there

Many improvements over the last several updates however one of the worst bugs is still unsolved: when video playback fails, instead of triggering player resuming after 3 seconds, the app starts playing the next channel or video in the channel list. One way around this is to play a video directly from the search results but of course it’s less than ideal. That way, if playback fails the stream resumes after a few secs and player doesn’t jump to next video. With videos on demand, these suddenly stop playing and take you back to the menu.

Many bugs

Too many to mention but the most frustrating ones: player changes channels unexpectedly. Videos on demand suddenly stop playing and take you back to the menu. Video buffering appears to have improved after the last update but when it fails app starts playing next channel or video in the channel list. One way around this is to play a video directly from the search results. That way, if playback fails the stream resumes after a few secs and player doesn’t jump to next video. Last but not least, after switching a couple playlists the app becomes sluggish and then almost unresponsive as time goes on so I have to reboot it if I want to be able to use it.
