About
Starting your first cashier job? Practice the part that makes the line wait.
Till Coach is a register that never gets impatient. A customer asks for an amount, you count it out with bills and coins, and the tip jar fills when you get it right the first time. There's no timer and no ads, so you can take a breath and try again.
Free:
- Count it: a customer asks for an amount and you lay it out on the counter
- The Coffee Bar (coins and $1) and Sunny's Diner (up to $20). At the diner the counter keeps its total to itself until you hand the money over, like a real till
- US dollars and coins
- Read aloud: customers say their order out loud as they walk up
- One Give change shift at Sunny's Diner, to try it before you unlock it
Full Register, a one-time unlock:
- Give change: a customer hands you $50 for $31.47 of groceries, and you count the change back
- The customer who hands you $20.05 for $14.05 so the change comes out rounder, the moment that trips up new cashiers
- Hear the change counted back, step by step, the way a cashier says it at the till
- Count the drawer: at closing time, count each compartment and the total until the till balances
- The Corner Market, with orders up to $100 and the $50 and $100 bills
- Canadian and Australian money, with their own coins, accents and cash rounding to 5 cents
- One payment, yours for good. No subscription
Any correct combination counts. Two fives are as good as a ten.
Good for teens getting ready for a first job, adults who never got comfortable making change, and life-skills practice at home or in class. Works on iPhone and iPad.
No account, no ads, nothing collected.
