Tiller Trace is a private workshop notebook for traditional bowyers who want each tillering decision to stay connected to the measurements and photos that informed it. BUILD A DURABLE STAVE RECORD Record the wood species, bow style, dimensions, target draw weight and draw length, starting mass, notes, and the observations that matter for your particular stave. CAPTURE EACH TILLERING SESSION Keep floor, long-string, low-brace, full-brace, and final sessions in order. Add force-draw samples, brace height, upper and lower tiller, set or string follow, mass, work zones, and your own limb observations. COMPARE CONSISTENT PHOTOS Attach drawn, front-profile, and resting side-profile images. Compare two session photos with an adjustable overlay, centerline, and grid so changes are easier to see without replacing your judgment. READ THE FORCE-DRAW STORY Chart measurements across a session and review a transparent trapezoidal stored-energy estimate. Tiller Trace records and visualizes values you enter; it does not predict structural safety or tell you where to remove wood. TAKE THE RECORD WITH YOU Create a readable PDF bench report or a portable Tiller Trace backup containing the editable project and its selected photos. Sharing happens only when you choose a destination through Apple’s system interface.
