TIMBER CHOP is a one-tap felling game. One tree, seven forests, and a run that ends the moment you misread a branch. Tap the left or the right half of the screen and the woodcutter swings from that side, taking one section off the trunk. The whole stack drops and the next section arrives. If that section has a branch on the side you just tapped, you are hit. The sections above are visible several moves ahead, so this is reading rather than reacting. SEVEN FORESTS, ONE RUN A run travels. Every stage grows a different tree under a different sky, and the next one is always in view with the distance to it attached. DAWN GROVE - old oak at sunrise PINE RIDGE - black pine under open blue BIRCH HOLLOW - white birch in the pollen MAPLE BLAZE - red maple at sunset FROSTPINE PASS - frostpine in the snow EMBERWOOD - pale wood under a red sky MOONLIT DEEP - voidwood, fireflies, and the floor of the forest Arriving pays: chips, a fresh hard hat and a timer back from the edge. Past the seventh the forest keeps going, and every boundary steps the tempo and the branch density up. ONE MISTAKE IS SURVIVABLE The woodcutter wears a HARD HAT that takes the first hit for you. Losing it costs a large piece of the timer bar and every step of your combo. Once the hat is gone the next hit is the real one. A new hat is issued every twenty sections and at every new forest. Branches do not simply alternate. Runs of two to four on the same side appear on purpose, so an auto-tapping rhythm cannot carry you. THE BAR NEVER STOPS FALLING A timer bar drains constantly and only a cut refills it. It opens gently - half a tap a second, with eight seconds of bar in hand - and climbs from there without ever stopping. The refill halves every two thousand sections and has no floor, so the rate the game asks for has no ceiling: a flawless reader tapping six times a second dies at 757 sections, fifteen times a second at 3,158, and sixty times a second at 7,391. Your first runs hold the bar still until the first cut and mark the exact spot to tap. WHAT A RUN LEAVES BEHIND - A woodpile on the ground that records which side you cut from. - TWIN CUT! for reading two branches that land on the same side in a row. - A combo multiplier from x1 to x5, counted from your current unbroken streak. - Gold and platinum logs, golden groves of three in a row, and sap logs that hand the timer back when you are behind. - Nine axe-rack skins, unlocked by level or bought with chips. - Three daily quests, counted in tally marks rather than bars. - A daily streak, a DAILY RUN on a shared seed, and medals cut as notches into a log. SMALL, LOCAL, AND YOURS No image or audio files ship with this app: every sprite is drawn by code and every sound is synthesised at runtime. Scores, chips, XP, skins, streaks and quest progress live in your device's local storage - no account, no sign-in, no server. The game is fully playable offline, and deleting the app deletes everything it saved.
