What's New in Timberlog

1.13.2

October 5, 2026

- Photo measurement: automatic detection of log faces works again – recent versions drew a grid of circles across the whole photo instead of detecting the logs - Sawn timber, imperial units: length entered in inches is now calculated correctly (the volume was 12 times too high)

TLSC

Saves me a lot of time. Very handy on the fly

Doyle Scale isn’t accurate

The scale rounds down to the nearest board foot, not up. Doesn’t match the printed graphs of Doyle scale. Ie) 11’x19” log should be 154.68 according to Doyle formula. Printed charts round up to 155bf. This ap rounded down to 154bf.

Response from developer

Thank you for reporting this with such a precise example. You're right, the 11' × 19" log should show 155 bf, not 154. I've fixed this in version 1.13.1, now available on the App Store. If the update solves it for you, I'd appreciate it if you'd consider updating your review.
