What's New in Time Atlas

1.5.0

September 10, 2026

Major update! Thanks for using Time Atlas and sending us feedback. = SUPPORT FOR SIRI AND APPLE INTELLIGENCE = For phones supporting the new Siri AI, you can use Siri to create notes in Time Atlas, ask questions answered by your data in Time Atlas, and sync your notes and places to Spotlight and Siri. You can also use Siri inside Time Atlas by asking Siri for directions to a place you are viewing or to read a note aloud (for example). = IMPROVED USER INTERFACE AND INFINITE SCROLL = Time Atlas now adapts more smoothly to different screen sizes on iPhone and iPad, including the upcoming foldable iPhone Duo. The Days tab now uses infinite scrolling, making it easier to browse your memories without stopping. The redesigned header displays the week number, and you can give each week a custom name, such as Graduation week. = MOVIES, BOOKS, TV SHOWS AND MUSIC ON YOUR TIMELINE = You can now import or sync your movies, books and music from various services such as Last.fm, Trakt.tv, Literal.club and Goodreads. You can find the data connection from the Settings. Your movies, books and tv shows will appear under your notes in the Days tab, including the review and ratings you have added on those services. Use Search to find the new content quickly or Chat to ask recommendations of new books or movies to see! = TIMELINE EDITING = Add missing place visits, split activities when you change transportation, and update multiple activities at once. New activity types include hiking, stroller walking, dog walking and taxi rides, helping your timeline reflect more of what you do. = OTHER IMPROVEMENTS = This update includes also numerous smaller bug fixes and improvements to make using Time Atlas even more delightful. Some notable bug fixes: - Sleep sync was disconnected after an erroneous sleep event was encountered. Now invalid sleep events are simply skipped. - When changing to a new phone, the new phone will now automatically start tracking. If you have multiple phones with Time Atlas installed, you need to set tracking mode to “Off” in Settings for the other phones. - Full screen photos zoom & pan works now better.

Simple life logging

As someone who doesn't want to upload photos to social media to track where I've been this passive tracking on my day is appealing. And since it's just for me/is just on my phone I don't have to care about what I write about or whether I'll get any engagement

Response from developer

Glad to hear you like it, SqrClouds 👏. Time Atlas is supposed to be primarily private to you, so no social media or engagement needed. You can have it entirely passive and automatic, but occasional customization and tune-up can be fun too 😊. Also, privacy is really important to us – we don't see any of your data, ever! Brilliant

A superb way to keep track of all the places you've been.

Great app for collating life’s important moments

I’ve found this app great for recording a lot of life’s events. It’s great to recall visits and important events such as holidays and trips. The link to photos is also useful and I’ve also used it to remind me of the names of great cafes and and restaurants I have visited, particularly away from home when overseas. It also provides a useful summary of my exercise. It’s a great “journey journal” without having to keep and write a separate journal.

Response from developer

Amazing 🤙! A "journey journal" is kind of what we're going for. We hope that Time Atlas can be an automatic journal, so you specifically don't need to maintain a separate one. A lot of improvements coming very soon – keep an eye out and let us know what you think. Join our Discord to talk to us directly: https://discord.gg/zwJEYNdsPE.

use it every day!

I loved moves as an app before it died and this has been a great replacement, no wonder since one of the moves co-founders is involved. I love how easy it is to use and how much the functionality is there to get in the weeds of the data of your day if you want to, or just let it run and get the bigger picture. So excited to see what happens as the app continues to develop!

Thanks for the lovely words, Morgan 👋! We are moving pretty fast now and have big plans for the next few months – so stick around. You're already in our Discord but here's the link for anyone else reading this: https://discord.gg/zwJEYNdsPE.

Rip off

I'm sorry. But this app. I'd a rip off. I use polar steps currently. And it does everything this does. And more. And it's free.

Response from developer

Time Atlas is also free. Similar to Polar Steps, which is a great app, it has a paid Plus subscription. Time Atlas is for tracking everyday life, not only travels.
