No-Nonsense, StraightUp

Simple, no-nonsense Timelapse calculator. Only a few parameters, but even if you’re trying to specifically calculate frames instead of time, you can deduce that pretty easily with the parameters given. This is what I like. It’s not trying to be more than it needs to be, it’s extremely easy to use, and it gives you the results you want and the app itself has an easily identifiable name for when you’re swiping through your Atlantic Ocean of apps looking for a tool. Gotta love it. Any complainers need to reevaluate their expectations of reality.

I really love it BUT

It would be perfect if I was able to just click on a value text box and just type in the number I want on my phone. Instead I have to hold down my finger for a long time when I have a large number. Is this a problem with my phone, or the app? I would be so happy if this could be updated.

It does work, but the automatic scroll broke with a recent change in iOS. You just needed to swipe down to see the result, but I have fixed the scrolling problem in any case in the latest update, version 2.0, which includes a couple of other improvements as well. I hope you will reconsider your 1 star review after updating, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Basic tool / works well

Basic tool - works well. 2 dream features I’d love to see : #1 Would be nice if down arrow would cycle from zero to max value of field (say 0 seconds & hitting down arrow would go to 59) #2. Allow 1:1 time parameter so this can be used as a data calculator tool. ( 1 hour event at 1 hour playback at frame rate and res would yield data calculation). Just a thought … would make this a one stop app!

Thank you for your feedback! I like the idea of cycling through to the max value with the down arrow. I will consider it! The current storage calculations are so rough that I wouldn’t want to present that as a major feature in its current form, but that’s something to think about. Thanks!

Simple à utiliser et efficace

L’application ne fait qu’une chose, mais elle le fait bien. Elle me permet de programmer de façon efficace mon appareil photo. Avec une traduction en français, elle serait parfaite 🙂

Not bad but...

This app does what it is supposed to do. It has all the features you need and creates the information that is essential to making a good time lapse film. However, the arrow buttons used to input information such as seconds, minutes, and hours are too small and too close to the input display. When pushing these buttons, one cannot see the input display, so one has to constantly remove their finger to see the display. This can be very frustrating.

Thank you for taking the time to review my app. The next version will have a preference option to allow time input with a scroll wheel. The current UI method keeps the interface clean and fast, but I can see why some might prefer an alternate method.

Does the Calculations for You - UPDATE

I very much appreciate this app. It answers all the questions regarding setting up for a time lapse in order to get the exact sequence and length.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to do perfect time lapse clips.

To the Developer: Please include landscape mode. I use this on my iPad with keyboard. I have to lay on my side to use this app (kidding).

UPDATE: To the Developer, thank you for accepting my suggestion and updating the app. This makes an already excellent app even better! I can now sit straight up and use this app!

Works great

Granted, part of my motivation for writing a review is to contradict the obvious spam review. The app works great keeps my feeble mind from having to calculate so many zeros and decimal points and then wonder if I did it correctly. For the price it is well worth the ease of mind to know you got a legitimate calculation. Works well, works easy, works predictably. Nothing fancy just basic math.

Does not work

I usually never by apps. This is maybe the second app in 5 years I have ever paid for. And guess what, it does not even work. Now that's disappointing!
The problem is that when I try and enter something in the information fields nothing happens. It will not allow me to enter anything. There is no response, nothing happens. So, I bit the bullet and paid, now I feel like they just stole my dollar.
Is there any support to get this working??

This sounds like a spam review, but thanks for the 5 stars?! If you are having legit concerns, we do list our support page in the description. Please be aware that you must use those big arrow buttons to set the fields, although direct input is on the list of features to be included in future versions.

Simple to Use

Needs a timer for the Event duration would be help if you have eg 2 hrs to shoot a timer would be great to let you know

This time lapse calculator does what I want. Tried others and they all worked backwards. I know my FPS, Interval, and film length, but how long will be out in the field shooting? This App tells me, thank the lord! Well done!
