Nearly perfect
The actual gameplay is really good moving down small tight corridors gunning down bad guys and time slowing down so you can preform dash and other skills. Limited amount of ammo so you have to be smart. Light puzzle elements which are not hard. The story is good can be a bit confusing because it is about time travel. The only bad thing is that the joystick is not easy to use when aiming at bad guys. I recommend you change your settings which makes the controls a bit easier to use.

Great twin-stick fun!
This is a frantic twin-stick shooter than can be unforgiving (read: deadly) for even the tiniest mistakes, but it keeps you coming back for more to get through that troublesome level unscathed. I do love the challenge and I do think that a controller is all but necessary for this game. I play on an iPad Pro with an Xbox Series X controller as well as on an iPhone 11 Pro Max with Backbone One. This game is 3+ years old and could probably benefit from a small refresh (as you’ve been doing for other games) for modern iOS and hardware. For example in the Backbone One app which is used for launching games with that controller, Time Recoil shows up as a general empty grey icon. So it could probably use a little tweak to be compatible with that. Game works great with Backone One in any case!

Worst game I’ve played on iPhone, and I’m a big fan of 10 ton shooting games but this particular title is one colossal fall off from 10 ton greats such as Neon Chrome, JYDGE, Undead Horde, & Tesla vs Lovecraft

Great game with a bug
Love this game. It’s a great change from a typical top down shooter. There does seem to be an issue where I constantly lock on to file cabinets and can’t target enemies. Keeps getting me killed. Especially when it’s a file cabinet in another room.

Gd game but not controls
It would be some much more enjoyable if there would be possibility to change the controls. Can you change fire button to 3D Touch on compatible devices and double tap to dash and put interact button in top right corner? With 1 shot and you dead controls should be as perfect and simple as possible but there is no option at all to change anything , even the layout.

I loved neon chrome and JYDGE is really good. Maybe this one is not my cup of tea because I didn't want to play through the end.

Beautiful game, thought it was what I’ve been looking for for ages. Played it for a bit but when you’ve spent an hour trying to get past a single level and having to start from scratch each time, I’ve decided to delete it. Just way too annoying.

10Tons does it AGAIN!
I loved playing through Neon Chrome, awesome top-down shooter above and beyond any other one in the App Store. Wasn’t sure what to expect with this new offering from 10Tons, because Neon Chrome was so PERFECT in every way possible, IMO?
I have been waiting forever for the add-on Arena Mode to N.C. and saw that they had just released this new TDS. The introductory price was low enough to give it a shot, while continuing to wait for the new Arena add-on. Well, I was not disappointed to say the least! Time Recoil is a different concept that adds slow-time and dash abilities depending on how many enemies you can eliminate in succession. This element makes it a little different from Neon Chrome, but just as enjoyable! Controls, graphics, and audio are just as clean and responsive.
In conclusion, if you enjoy Top Down Shooters, Time Recoil is well worth the price and looks to have extensive playability. If you loved Neon Chrome (I definitely did) this new 10Tons offering is a MUST BUY! 10Tons has set the bar that others strive to emulate! Thanks 10Tons; now just kick it in the butt to get Neon Chromes Arena add-on up and running. Can’t wait to continue the mass destruction!!!! 😝🤗🤠😎
