Sand timer collection with real tilt physics and a sun compass powered by device sensors. The sand timers simulate realistic particle flow inside a visual hourglass. Eight preset durations cover common timing needs from one minute to one hour. Tilt the phone and the sand responds to the device orientation, flowing in the direction of gravity. Flip the phone upside down to reset the timer. Sand grains fall individually through the narrow neck and pile up naturally in the bottom bulb. Eight sand materials change the look and feel of the timer. Gold dust produces shimmering golden particles. Ruby, sapphire, and emerald create jewel-toned grains. Obsidian gives dark volcanic glass. Pearl produces warm iridescent white. Desert sand offers a natural realistic appearance. Copper adds warm metallic tones. Each material has distinct particle sizes and flow characteristics. Custom timers accept any duration from one second to twenty-three hours. Set the duration, pick a material, name the timer, and save the combination to favorites for one-tap access later. Timer names are also rendered as hieroglyphs inside an Egyptian cartouche, an artistic transliteration that turns each saved timer into a small piece of personal calligraphy. Rituals chain multiple timer steps into a single sequence with auto-advance. Build a focus session like five minutes of stretching, twenty-five minutes of work, and five minutes of break, then have the whole sequence repeat four times. Each step uses its own sand material. The ritual library saves named sequences for one-tap launch and logs every completed step to history. The sun compass uses the device compass and GPS to display your current heading with a live sun position marker on the compass dial. The golden sun icon sits at the sun's current azimuth on the compass ring, showing where the sun is relative to your facing direction. When the sun is below the horizon the marker dims automatically. Golden hour and blue hour windows are calculated from your GPS coordinates using standard astronomical formulas. A timeline bar shows the full day's light phases from night through blue hour, golden hour, daylight, and back. A countdown displays the time remaining until the next golden hour. The shadow calculator takes an object height from half a meter up to two hundred meters and computes the current shadow length and compass direction based on the sun's altitude. The result updates continuously as the sun moves. A simple diagram illustrates the geometric relationship between object height, sun angle, and shadow length. Sundial Mode turns the phone into a working sundial. Lay the device face-up on a level surface and the screen renders a top-down obelisk casting a real shadow, with the dial oriented to true north using the device compass. The shadow direction follows the sun's actual azimuth and its length follows the sun's altitude, so the display tells time the way ancient gnomons did. The mode automatically prompts you to lay the phone flat when it is held upright. The Photographer's Planner lets you pick any future date within the next year and scrub through the day to see the sun's path arc, the proportional light-phase timeline, the sun altitude and azimuth at any moment, and the resulting shadow length and direction for an object of any height. Bookmark planning dates as named shoot days for later reference. Sun position data includes sunrise, solar noon, sunset, day length, current altitude and azimuth, and a sun path arc showing the trajectory across the sky for the current day. Timer history logs past sessions with duration, material, date, and completion status. Lifetime statistics show total sessions, total time tracked, completion rate, and most-used material. All solar calculations run entirely on device using GPS coordinates. Timer physics use the device accelerometer. No network connection required. No account needed.
