Upgraded to Subscription and soo worth it!
We are an Autistic and ADHD household. This does wonders for making transactions fun while helping our time blindness and time management skills. We make a game out of it: “Can you beat the timer?” Also, it’s visual; but has cute chimes and a little cartoon when you don’t beat the timer! We love it! You only get 2 customized timers and 1/3 of the chimes, without the $$9.95/year subscription. Also, the basic does not come with the customizable “Congratulations!” pop-up or cartoon. However, you can always set as many quick timers as you may deem necessary. We definitely needed the visual countdown timer. All the other perks are just extra fun and soo worth it for us!

Better than it needs to be
I really appreciate this app. I use it to run my work life — for every six minutes of work, I take a one minute break. This is great for both, and makes my life easier.

App needs more work though. UI needs work, annoying to set timers and started. App is underdeveloped. And needs to be easier to use
Excellent App
This app is a game changer for me! Being able to see the amount of time lapsed and time remaining laid out in this format just clicks with me. Getting places on time isn’t so stressful anymore.

Custom sound and Widget feature?
I like it but I wish there was an option for a custom sound? The base sounds are really harsh? Widgets would be nice too!
Fabulous with this addition
Add a Picture in Picture option, since this is a visual app. Work with Apple to add it to the corner or top of the screen visible from most any app !

Misses the mark
Used this for a couple times until I realized the fatal flaw. Whatever time you select should be A WHOLE CIRCLE. If you set the timer for an hour, the circle should represent an hour. But if you set the timer for a half an hour., The circle should represent a half hour. That way you can visually see if half your time has elapsed.. This is especially important for kids who don’t necessarily think in terms of the hours.. They think I have this much time to do it, and oh look there’s half the time left. At the very least, there should be an option to have it work this way.

Like it, one more thing to love it
I really like the simplicity of this timer. I actually had a physical timer that they have for sale before so when I found this application, I appreciated the fact they made an app just like their timer. The only thing I would suggest for the makers of this app is to have trackable progress. I use a lot of different apps and so one thing I like about other apps that this one doesn’t have is that if you get so many timers done in a day it’s tracking that. It’s just a good way to be able to reflect on all the work you got done just like a checklist. I did notice that when you were done with a timer, it is zeroed out so if you were to use all your timers in one day, you can zero them out and then refresh them, which is kind of cool too, but if you are using one time or multiple times, there’s no railway to track it. It’s just a suggestion.

Live activities and Apple Watch
Unlike that this timer already syncs between my watch and my phone, but it would be great if it also had a live activity so you don’t always have to have your phone unlocked with the app open to see the time remaining. Additionally, if there was a simple little complication on Apple Watch that showed the disk, that would be great too. For it to a good time keeping tool, I feel like it shouldn’t be so easy to forget about it like it is currently without these features.

Useful but buggy
I’m a teacher and mom of 3. I use Time Timers for everything and just recently started using the app the help with potty training. I love being able to sync across devices so I get notified when his potty timer goes off. Unfortunately, when we restart his potty timer on his device, it doesn’t show up on my app anymore. Also, a few things that the app could use: a passcode option on the timer lock, not allowing the timer to be paused when it’s locked, and a potty symbol. Having a passcode would allow for more independence when teaching a child to use a timer while still providing limits/boundaries. If it’s counting down to something non-preferred, a child can easily pause the timer while it’s locked or unlock it.

Freezes - Broken for the past 6 months
I loved it initially! Great for time blindness!
But after buying my 1-year subscription, it started crashing. Specifically, whenever I tried to open “Timer Lists”.

Simple solution
Very simple and quick. Not overthought.
Can’t edit an individual timer in a group
In order to adjust a timer in a group of timers you have to drag that timer to the top of the group to adjust it.

How to you change the timer name after you have set one up.
Great app with one exception
Love the app, been using it for a couple of years. Works great for my stretching routine. Only issue is the newest version has a pop up that the interval is complete that has to be dismissed. Wasn’t this way on previous version and is a pain when you have a routine with 30+ intervals. Would love to see this removed in a future version. Otherwise is a great was to set a series of interval timers. Great work!!
