My Daily prayer time resource
I am elderly and handicapped but still living, with the Grace of God, on my own. “Aging in Place” it’s called, I hear.
This Time To Pray app helps me follow my Anglican faith’s Daily Office as indicated, I believe, in the Book of Common Prayer. (I’m a new convert still learning, from a Baptist upbringing)
In any case, the AUDIO in this wonderful application, allows me to hear and pray along and sing with the audio that is so powerful and inspiring and educational to me.
I can’t possibly imagine being without this prayer companion. Thank you, all the developers and individuals responsible for keeping this prayer resource up and running for us!!

Helpful but could be better
It’s okay but too repetitive to use every day / evening.
Frustrated
My app for time to Pray changed without my knowing. My husband and I use the app daily. His did not change, and we are completely out of sync. No longer do I have the Saints days, I don’t have a collect and if I touch my screen it jumps to another day. Far too sensitive. Sorry but this is a fail.
Since I wrote my big disappointments three years ago, I have got used to the absence of things I relied on. My husband and I use this most mornings: sometimes we read the prayers aloud and other times follow the audio which could be my favourite. The readers lead so well and the music is so apt. However we always turn back to praying the service together. I recommend it often to others.

Night Prayers no longer sync with readings on the screen.
The audio and text for “Night” no longer sync up to the psalms and other readings on screen. This started about a week or so ago. It was working properly for a long time but recently became out of sync. All setting are set to “default” and “Day” seems to be working fine. Please fix as I depend on this app daily. Thank You Very Much!!

Mostly great but…
…the audio recordings that get downloaded, do not follow the text of prayers, if different prayers are selected using the Edit feature (pencil icon). Likewise, whatever selections you make in Edit mode, don’t stay selected.
Case in point: the Lord’s Prayer. If you choose the traditional form of this prayer, the audio still repeats the contemporary version, and even the selection doesn’t “stick”. Would be wonderful if all audio recordings follow which ever prayers the user chooses.

Good app
I like this app and the recordings make it even better. The daily recording for morning of March 22nd did not match reading. I could not find an easy in app way to contact app maker when I had a problem. These would be good items to improve.
Enjoying the update
I stopped using this app as I found it wasn’t so straightforward. Since the update I’ve tried again and love it! So simple and basic - two prayers, one for day, one for night, change daily, and I love love love the audio option. I can now listen and join in the responses, like I’m praying with someone else even when alone. And the sung/chanted parts are an extra treat.

This app is wonderful and has helped my prayer life so much.
Wish I’d had this years ago!
I love this app! It is the best way I have found to incorporate regular prayer into my daily life. The choice of scriptures and readings are the perfect springboard into my own further prayers. This app is one of the few I’ve found that actually change my life for the better!
New version Not an improvement.
Why not have a full screen for R the app. I am sight impaired and the old version was much better. All that border wastes the space which could be used for the text, especially with larger font sizes.

Less choice
I am disappointed with the update. In the last version there were several different forms of intercession, now only two that I can see and not my favourites. Is there any chance of reverting to the original choices. I am referring to the time before we moved from All Saints to Advent

Love the friendlier fonts and colour design, the dark mode, and the way you can edit a plan ahead of time, to choose between the different options. Highly recommended.

Traditional language option?
Lovely app, like the way it integrates the readings for the relevant day. Would it be possible to have a traditional language version, as is available on the website? There is a simple toggle switch on the Daily Prayer app which is great.
Unfortunately it is not working.
Opens up with all the menus blank, and many sections showing no content.
Okay but.
It’s a good app, but why isn’t “prayer during the day” included in the Daily Prayer app. After all, “night prayer” is in both. All Four sets of prayers would then be in the same place. Could also include an alarm reminder for set prayer times (perhaps to the sound of a monastery bell 😇)
