What's New in Time2Pray

5.7.0

September 7, 2026

Time2Pray has been rebuilt, screen by screen. THE APP FOLLOWS THE DAY The whole app now changes colour as the day moves — indigo at Fajr, clear blue at Dhuhr, amber through Asr, clay at Maghrib, deep navy at Isha. If you would rather it stayed still, Settings lets you pin it to day or night. Light mode works again. The switch had quietly been doing nothing for a long time. A NEW ICON The app icon is now a mihrab, the prayer niche, opening onto the sky. MORE ACCURATE TIMES Fixed three faults in the calculation the app falls back to when it cannot reach the server. Sunrise could be several minutes out. THE WHOLE DAY, NOT ONLY FIVE TIMES A new day view shows ishraq, duha, the last third of the night for tahajjud, and the three short windows when prayer is not offered. MASJID CARDS THAT MAKE SENSE Adhan time and jamaah time are now clearly told apart, with the next congregation and how long you have until it. Cards no longer skip ahead to tomorrow while today still has a prayer left in it. QIBLA, REDESIGNED The compass is now a prayer mat with a mihrab arch. Turn towards Makkah and the Kaaba slides into the niche and settles there. If the compass needs help, the screen says what is wrong and how to put it right. FRIDAY The reward hours for Jumuah are now counted from the real khutbah time at your nearest masjid, rather than from Dhuhr. The five hours are drawn as an arc, and Friday carries on after the congregation ends. NOTIFICATIONS Choose your adhan voice from ten muezzins, each with a photograph and the mosque they call from, and hear one before you choose it. The notification sound is now a real choice: the call to prayer, one of two adhan voices, a chime, or silence. Silent now means silent. Tapping a notification opens the screen it was about, instead of the home screen. Fixed a problem where some reminders never arrived on iPhone at all. On Android, prayer alerts can now arrive on the minute rather than several minutes late. On Android 13 and later there is a new row in Notification settings to allow this. NEW AND REBUILT Saved: one shelf for the narrations and duas you keep, with a reference you can cite. Duas: somewhere to keep the ones you actually use. Hadith: a way back into 36,000 narrations without losing your place. Verses Jar, Tasbih with real beads, Favourites, and a calendar that shows what is coming rather than only the month you are looking at. Safar: the app now says which prayers shorten when you travel, and what to do when there is no water. Istikhara: the dua, and a journal that stays on your phone. SETTINGS You can now delete your account from Settings. And several hundred smaller fixes across every screen in the app.

Amazing app

Assalamu Alaikum,

I found this app to be truly unique, as I haven’t come across any other app that offers such a comprehensive set of features. What I appreciate the most is the 24/7 live streaming from Makkah and Madinah, which makes the app especially meaningful and engaging for its users.

In addition, This app brings together many valuable features in one place, including the Qur’an, Hadith, Qibla direction, and much more. It is quite rare to find a single app that serves so many different purposes while maintaining such a well-organized experience.

Initially, I underestimated this app. When someone recommended it to me by word of mouth, I assumed it was just another ordinary app. However, after using it, I realized how unique and feature-rich it truly is. I also understand that several new features are planned for future releases. Overall, this is an excellent initiative

JazakAllahu Khairan.

Excellent App

Excellent application! Consolidated services at one place. Beautiful UI, beautiful features, beautiful services. Find mosque nearby is the showstopper. Amazing job! Lots of prayers to the creator of the application.

Finally, a pure app without annoying ads!

I have tried so many prayer apps, but this one is truly a breath of fresh air. It is 100% ad-free, which makes it perfect for a religious app, as you don't want distractions while Checking prayer times. The accuracy of the Salah times is spot-on, and the nearby mosque locator feature is a lifesaver—it even shows the Iqamah times for local masjids! The app is clean, fast, and does exactly what it promises without constantly asking for subscriptions or showing pop-ups. May Allah reward the developers.
