About

Timeary is an online study room for people who find it hard to study alone. Study with friends or people taking the same exam and you stay focused. ■ Friends, or people on the same exam Pick a room from the list. Some rooms are named after an exam — SAT, civil service, certifications, TOEIC. Others are a class or roommates, people who already know each other. If there is none, make one. A room with one person is still a start. ■ Studying together keeps you focused Enter a room and people are sitting at the table. For each person you see the avatar and level, what they are studying right now, and the time being measured. Your own information shows the same way. You can be in one room at a time. ■ Invite people to study with you Send a link or show a QR code and they land in the room. You can send it to someone without the app — it takes them to the store. ■ Group your subjects into playlists Create subjects inside a playlist and pick one when you start measuring. The subject you picked is shown in the room. · Playlist — SAT, civil service exam, certification · Subject — English, Math, Civil law inside it ■ Study with ambient sound Choose a sound to play while you measure. Fire, rain, waves, a library. It starts with the measurement, fades when you stop, and keeps playing with the screen locked. ■ Keep a study log When you stop, the session becomes a record. See what you studied and when — by day, week or month. Totals, averages and best records per subject. ■ Manage your exam schedule Put exams on the calendar and count down the days. One-day exams and exams that span several days both work. Tie records to an exam and see the days and hours you studied for it, together. ■ Stopwatch, timer, Pomodoro Three ways to measure study time. · Stopwatch — the measured time grows · Timer — the time you set counts down, and you see in advance when it ends · Pomodoro — 50 minutes of focus, 10 minutes of rest, repeated While measuring, it also shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. ■ Screen settings · Keep screen on — the screen stays on while the app is open · Ask when lifted — if you pick up the device while measuring, it asks once. It never stops the measurement for you ■ Level Experience grows with study time, and enough experience raises your level. Your level is shown in the room. ■ Sign-in and saving Sign in with Google or Apple. Once signed in, your records are backed up and the same records appear on iPhone and iPad. You can also measure alone without signing in. Records then stay on your device only, and it works offline. Study rooms require sign-in.

What's New in Timeary

2.22.1

October 7, 2026

New - Rename your study room. If you made the room, tap its name to change it. - Pick an exam and study together. The home screen shows which exam you are studying for, and a pause from another device still records the same exam. - See just the time. Tap the time on the home screen and everything else steps aside. Timer and Pomodoro draw the remaining time as a ring. - Know when it ends. The finish time is on screen while you are choosing a duration and while you are timing. - Pick up the device and timing pauses right away, with no dialog. Turn it on or off under Keep screen on. Improved - The study room no longer waits as one. Each part appears as it is ready, and anything that could not load says so and offers a retry. - Picking an exam takes one tap, and stopping no longer clears it. You can also attach an exam while adding a record by hand. - A forgotten stopwatch or Pomodoro no longer runs all night. A record stops at 12 hours and a Pomodoro at 12 intervals. Fixed - Reopening the app no longer clears your playlist and title selection. - Background sound comes back after a phone call. - A timer left running now notifies you when it ends, even after you reopen the app. - Other people's time in a study room no longer restarts from zero each time you enter.
