It's a good thought, I'll give them that. But it doesn't do it for me as some other addictive games do.
Yes, it's challenging, yes it's half decent graphics, but the relevance to time seems to just be the fact you're spinning round on a clock.
There's no tutorial, controls learnt as you go. There seem to be no unlockables, no changes in gameplay. You just keep going round and round and round.
3/5 for the initial joy, but otherwise I'll get bored of it very fast.
