good app
App looks great, really want to use it, but the only feature I need is timer. Desktop timer works fine but on iOS notification is stuck even if task is stopped
Best time tracker
Having testing a dozen time trackers, I found this one to be the best by far.
Cannot add it on the widget
Great design! However, how can I add it on the widget?
Great app, amazing customer support
Alright, here’s the deal: I’m one of those who tend to only write reviews if something is REALLY bad or something is REALLY good. This one is the latter!
The time tracking app is awesome. It does everything I need it to do and has more features than I expected. I was satisfied even before I reached out to the developer with a question.
Turns out I use several different calendar apps on my Mac and I realized that Apple and Google’s calendar protocols didn’t align (Gregorian vs ISO-8601). I needed to switch my apple calendar to ISO-8601 (this is mostly for numbering weeks in the year, which I use for invoicing and project planning), and when I did so, Timelime automatically sent me a notification explaining that Timelime didn’t support the ISO-8601 calendar and not all features would be active until the Apple calendar settings returned to Gregorian.
I brought this to the attention of the developer a month ago. They responded quickly explaining they weren’t aware of the differences and would look into it. I could tell there was genuine interest in my request already.
A month later, the developer sends me a follow up message to tell me that they’ve implemented support for the ISO-8601 calendar!! I was already please with the app but I am very impressed with the genuinely good service! They listened, they researched, they implemented an update and they even followed up to let me know the news. I am impressed!!
Thanks for taking the time to keep this app and system relevant, and for listening to your customers. You are an example for other platforms!

Response from developer
Hi, This bug has been fixed in the latest version v1.8.3. Please update again, it will automatically appear as purchased. I‘m sorry for the inconvenience.
Anybody out there?
This is a fantastic time tracking app as long as you have an abundance of time to wait for it to sync before using it on another device.
Sometimes it’s as fast as you would expect, others I take a screenshot after I give up waiting so I can fix the times.

Best time tracker I’ve used!
I was on the hunt for a good time tracking app that was both mobile and on Mac. This time tracker fit the bill! I frequently move between tasks and this product makes it very easy to stop a timer for something and start another quickly. I’ve used other apps and it was cumbersome to try and switch timers quickly so I gave up using them after a day.
A few things I’d like to see (or maybe exist and I missed): an interface for Apple Watch and the ability to drill down graphs further to sub tasks.
This is a great product for a great price. Thank you!

The Best Time Tracker
I use this to manage my time in my small business at home. This app ticks so many boxes it's not even funny. It looks good, simple clean and elegant. It has many deep features like allowing you to track work past midnight and count it as the same day (many apps don't implement this well), and great flexible options for rounding tracking to your desired grid.
The reporting on this app, pie charts, bar and line graphs, very clean and effective. After every day I get my daily breakdown visually clear and in an instant with these. The charts are quick to customize and focus on specific tasks for your tracking pleasure. The sync between phone and desktop works really well and there's no subscription fee! You buy it you own it, and relative to other tracking apps the price is good on this.
I have become so much more effecient because I use this app to clock in and out of breaks or whatever tasks I've setup with it. I highly recommend checking this out of you need a fully featured time tracker with devs who pay attention to the finer details which can make or break an app like this!

This app is a Gem
I finally found you, my ideal time tracker.
Awesome
Get this app, you will love it.
Great Time Tracker
Super easy sync with the Mac app version. Set for iCloud on both, that's it, done. Widget to start and stop timers is very nice.
One of my most used apps, So glad there is an iPhone version now
I have been using this app on my Mac computers for a while. It is in my opinion the best in it's category. The app allows unobtrusive project-based time tracking, it has extensive features, allows sub-tasks, offers great visualization, and has great import-export capabilities. Sync works smoothly for both iCloud and Dropbox (although I stick to Dropbox because I don't trust Aple on this front).
But the killer aspect of this app is that it offers continuous, seamless, integrated time-tracking on both your Mac OS and iOS devices. It just works in that regard. And for anyone who needs or wants to track time accurately, this integration is a life-saver because it offers great freedom.
There is a lot of effort and care in this little app, and the iOS version shines with polish. Don't hesitate to use it if you need to track time.

Effective app for timetracking
This app is well designed and has a simple, user-friendly layout. Initially disappointed that its availability was restrictcted to iPhone, I quickly realised the error of my disappointment when I started to use it. Keeping a minute by minute record of my professional activities is very important to me and I've used the Outlook Journal function for this for many years. The problem with Journal is keeping track when you're not in front of a PC. And having an alternative that's on my phone, which is with me at all times whether at or away from desk, has made a huge difference.
With the app, you can set up a list of different activity categories (I have about 15, associated with company activity codes, that I regularly use). Then, whenever you start a new task (or afterwards, if you forget) you simply tap on your choice of category, then tap a + sign to start a task in that catergory. You get a simple dialogue screen which you can complete immediately or later. Crucially, it records the start time and you can either start a timer from that moment, or simply record your finishing time when you're done. It's easy to record a summary of what you did during the task using the note field of the dialogue screen.
Afterwards, you have two nice graphics to help track your activities afterwards. There's a month calendar that has different coloured dots to identify which categories you've worked on on each individual day. And there's a daily timeline (using the same category colours) to show the sequence of tasks you performed - each of which can be opened up to review the detail with a simple double tap. I find it very useful to be able to total the time I worked on each of my categories each day.
The app installed very smoothly, caused no problems with my phone, and doesn't take up much space (though it's worth remembering that you're continually putting more and more data into it). You need to be careful when you're using the dialogue screen to input information about each task - you can, if you're not diligent, put the wrong time or other info in. But I've found that a comparatively minor problem. My only other slightly negative comment is that it would be nice if you could generate simple reports from the app but, currently, so far as I can tell, that feature isn't yet available.
But this is a very nice piece of design that has generated an app that does an important job very well.
Thank you Nikolaus.

Every day: stable, great UI, a KEEPER
I adore Timelime on my Mac. I'm a freelancer and I keep track of my billable hours with it. It sits in my menu bar, so easy to stop and start; it's reliable (backup and sync too); and it exports beautifully for bookkeeping.
Thank you for making this wonderful iPhone companion app.

Great App! A Business Saver!
I have the desktop version of this app and can attest to this developer truly caring about his product. Every suggestion any user makes is taken seriously, and if it makes sense, the developer will add the feature into a future version. He is also very quick to respond to any bugs found and corrects them immediately. He's a rare combination of quality, passion, and attention to detail. Definitely highly recommended!!!
