About

Explore your sense of time through short exercises in duration, memory, rhythm, and attention. Timeguess lets you make a prediction, see what actually happened, and keep your own results in context. FIVE WAYS TO FEEL AN INTERVAL Estimate: stop when a stated duration feels complete, without a visible clock. Replay: watch a light, remember its duration, and reproduce it. Compare: decide which of two lights lasted longer. Rhythm: follow four flashes, then keep the pace with five taps. Distraction: hold an interval while responding only to circles among changing shapes. MAKE A PRACTICE YOUR OWN Choose targets, reference pace, and three- or five-round sessions. Recent results suggest a starting level after you have saved enough rounds. Build named mixes with up to eight steps, each with its own exercise, target, and level. FOLLOW A SMALL PATH Seven mixed sessions introduce different timing questions. Complete them one a day or at your own pace. A fixed daily field test offers three different exercises, while the daily fieldbook lets you revisit recent dates and inspect saved retries. LEARN A LITTLE CONTEXT Read eight original field notes about attention, temporal context, rhythm, proportional error, and useful practice. Each includes an exercise and a link to primary research. Search, bookmark, and mark notes as read. The bundled reading works offline. SEE THE PATTERN BEHIND A SCORE Review absolute error, early or late bias, variability, and separate comparison accuracy. Explore trends and breakdowns by exercise, interval, and level. After six matching rounds, compare your earliest three with your latest three under the same settings. KEEP YOUR OBSERVATIONS Reopen exact round results, add a short note, filter session history, and share a text report when you choose. Sessions, custom mixes, reading progress, and preferences stay in local app storage. No account is required. Designed for iPhone and iPad. Results describe these exercises; they are not a general assessment of cognitive ability.
