Great game - ad issues
Love the game a lot, but the ads at the end often don’t close after the time has run out which stops me from seeing my final score, which can ruin what is otherwise a really fun game. If that bug was fixed it would be perfect!
Disappointed
I love the game and understand adding the advertising but the close button at the end of the ads does not work. I never get my final score. Add an option for as free or fix the close button at the end of the ad. Hating getting frozen at the end of a single round.

Brilliant game
It’s so cool to play with other people. I love this game concept! You look at a photo and you can really analyze and find clues to tell you where in the world that may have taken place. So really zoom in and check it out. And then there are clues about when it might’ve been taken. You have to analyze the fashion.

Great Game with a catch
I love the game concept. I’m perfectly fine with ads but sometimes they pop up and there is no way to close out of them. Even after hitting “close” 500 times. I’ve had to quit the the app and lose my progress multiple times already.
SECURITY HAZARD
Game is great but privacy and security policy is as dodgy as it can be. You can’t reject all cookies, most vendors are hidden behind disingenuous design and when you get to them you have to disable dozens individually. Most vendors want access to your private data for 10 years. What a disappointment

Ad integration fail.
The TimeGuessr app was fine to begin with, and seems to have been built well - but with the clunky integration of ads seemingly tacked onto a working app, it had made it unusable. For the daily game that I play with my family overseas, before I can share my results, I get an ad that can’t be exited out of, and if I force close the app I am back to the start!
Also, with the “share results” you should remove the URL as it makes sharing messy.
If the ads get fixed, I will give the app a much higher rating.

They’ve recently enabled ads in this app and they are all scam ads. Every ad pretends there is a virus on your phone and include multiple fake ‘x’ icons to trick you.
