I love this app so much!
Having kept journals for many years in paper form, I have really struggled to find a good enough digital journal that I liked and had exactly what I wanted. I just wish there was a video upload feature because not everything is photographable and video would add a very significant element. I ended up using TikTok like a diary and then people in my real life saw them. So now I use Verbo and timeline. I wish there was a way to integrate the two but that’s my only negative. I love that it’s not a subscription like everything else nowadays so yeah. Great app. Ooh also, if we could have a face unlock only option without defaulting to passcode or maybe a separate pin with email passkey backup that would also be great because of privacy.

Beautiful, Fast, and Simple
My only wish is for Shortcuts support so I could log all kinds of things like locations, purchases, when I was driving etc. Can’t find any app with a searchable timeline view that supports shortcuts. It would be rad!

This app is a must have on my devices. It's nothing fancy. Quick, time-stamped, notes. You can add photos and audio recordings.
My favourite feature in the latest update is the ability to create more than one time-line. I can now keep my work and personal notes seperate.

Brilliant app
This was exactly what I was looking for. It’s so clean and minimalist and easy to use. The only thing I’d change is I wish it had entry tagging so I could read back over separate categories at a time.
True to its Claim - No Nonsense
This is one of the most straightforward journal apps there is. No fuss, no unecessary distractions, solid at what it does.
Terrificly Simple
This is a great timeline journal. I've been using it for my morning pages. It's super quick and easy, it really takes the barriers to journaling away and I'm journaling more often then ever.
One note, when I fill a screen, the text box doesn't scroll, so I end up typing off screen and have to manually scroll down to see what I'm typing. Not a huge thing, it could also be a setting I'm not seeing.

Impressed of how simple and straight to the point it is. It’s sleek, efficient and I love that it has voice recording too.
I’m not sure if it will make it less simple if there was a location feature. But all in all, it’s great. Already paid for the lifetime payment too. 💯

Great app but can be slow
This app has been perfect for my use case but now that I already have a lot of entries, it gets really slow, there’s delay with every interaction. This is the same for both iPhone and iPad, hope this can be fixed.

Super simple journaling app, fast lightweight and a joy to use.
Very simple and easy to use
I’ve experimented with different apps to find something quick and simple to use. This app fits the bill. I put all sorts of notes here, as well as use it as a log of my actions throughout the day. Everything is automatically date and time stamped.
My only suggestion is to add the option of tags. And, some way of quickly displaying the age of a note. For example, not only would I see the date and time I mailed my assignment, I would also see that it was 9 days, and 7 hours ago.

Beautiful simplicity
It took me a while to find a journal that allows for me to organise entries in a simple way. Most journal apps are clattered and too complicated or really basic. Timeline allows for photo and text entries and just rolls with it. The lifetime unlock version is minimal and I am happy to support the developer. If you need a simple journal that allows you to record your thoughts, memories and anything in between, this is the one. Thank you.

This journal is AMAZING!
People, don't sleep on this app! I've used almost every journaling app around for years. There are a few good ones but I've always liked the running timeline ones, like Momento. Unfortunately that app stopped development. Using journals like DayOne and Journey are solid experiences for what they are. If however you just want to see a "timeline" of thoughts and ideas and images as your day unfolded Timeline is the best I've used. Number one is ease of use. Right out of the box it magically synced up between the Mac version and iPhone without me doing anything. It has all the right features and no bloat, and the UI is gorgeous. There's also an easy search function. I'd love to see the ability to save a search with tags. I'm just so pleasantly surprised I had to write a review. Try it you'll like it!

Great Journaling App
Timeline Journal is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The interface is modern, great-looking, and easy to use. Love being able to add photos, and the “on this day” feature is a nice surprise. Well worth the price!

I did not have this app downloaded more than 30 minutes to an hour. Made my first journal entry and then immediately purchased the lifetime ONE TIME payment for this amazing wonderful app. (You don’t have to purchase you can use it for free with out being hassled to buy it. AND ITS FANTASTIC) It’s what I’ve been looking for! It’s simple and easy to use. Free or super super cheap and No subscription!! Great job! I think this will be one of my new favorite apps and super helpful by making it easy for me to journal. Thank you!!

Best journaling app I’ve found!
This app is not only beautifully designed, clean and easy to use, but the features make it perfect for my journaling needs. I appreciate how it works on macOS too, for if I want to use a full keyboard to type or see entries on a bigger screen. And the pro features are way more than worth the cost. Thank you!
