About

What if screen time didn’t have to become a daily argument? “Five more minutes.” “But I finished my homework.” “Why can’t I play now?” For many families, screen time turns into the same conversation every day. Parents set limits. Kids push back. Rules change. Before long, everyone is arguing about the clock. TimePact Family is built around a different idea: Start with an agreement, not a restriction. Instead of locking apps or controlling your child’s device, TimePact Family helps parents and kids agree on clear rules together — and stick to them. Decide what needs to happen first. Agree on how much free time your child has. Choose whether responsibilities can earn extra time. Then let your child start taking ownership of that time. Less negotiation. More clarity about what everyone agreed on. THEIR TIME, THEIR RESPONSIBILITY Every family works differently. Maybe your child has a set amount of free time each day. Maybe homework, reading, walking the dog, practicing piano, exercising, or helping around the house can earn a little extra. Or maybe you use a mix of both. You make the rules that work for your family. TimePact Family makes those rules visible and easier to follow. Kids can see how much time they have, where it came from, how much they’ve used, and how much is left. The idea is simple: This is your time. Learn to manage it. AGREEMENTS GO BOTH WAYS This part matters to us. If a child agrees to a responsibility, they should follow through. But parents should follow through too. If you agreed that something earns 20 extra minutes and your child does it, those 20 minutes shouldn’t disappear because the rules suddenly changed. Kids keep their promises. Parents keep theirs. That’s how an everyday screen-time rule can become something bigger: a lesson in trust, responsibility, and keeping your word. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH TIMEPACT FAMILY • Create family agreements Decide on screen-time expectations, responsibilities, goals, and boundaries together. • Turn responsibilities into extra time Create tasks for homework, reading, chores, exercise, routines, or anything else that matters to your family. • Give kids their own time balance See time earned, used, and remaining in one simple place. • Track time clearly Use the timer, add time manually, and keep a clear history of where time came from and where it went. • Create family rewards Screen time doesn’t have to be the only reward. Create rewards that work for your family. • Look back together Weekly summaries help you see what’s working and whether your family agreement needs to change. NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO EARN SCREEN TIME We don’t believe every book read, chore finished, or good behavior needs to be exchanged for screen time. Some things are simply part of growing up and being part of a family. That’s why TimePact Family doesn’t tell you how to parent. You decide how much free time your child starts with, what can earn extra time, what deserves a different reward, and what is simply expected. The app provides the structure. Your family decides the values behind it. FROM PARENTAL CONTROL TO SELF-CONTROL TimePact Family isn’t designed to become a more powerful way to control your child’s device. In fact, the long-term goal is the opposite. We hope that over time: “Mom says I can’t play.” becomes: “We already agreed on this.” And eventually: “I know how much time I have. I can manage it myself.” An app can keep track of minutes, remember the rules, and show what was earned and used. But learning responsibility, building trust, and keeping promises still happens between a parent and a child. Technology can support the agreement. It shouldn’t have to enforce the relationship. The goal isn’t to get better at controlling your child’s screen time. It’s to help them get better at managing their own. Privacy Policy URL https://times.oriens.top/privacy

What's New in TimePact Family

1.0.5

September 8, 2026

This update introduces a new Task Timer mode: • Choose “Task Timer” when starting a timer to record the actual time spent on a task without deducting time from your available balance. • Keep “Time Usage” for recording entertainment and other time consumption, with the actual duration settled when the session ends. • Improved the timer interface, minute selection, and completion flow to make both modes easier to understand. • Improved timer reminders to avoid unsuitable alerts for short sessions and make end-of-session reminders more reliable. • Notifications now open weekly reports, tasks, pending check-ins, the ledger, rewards, and contracts directly. • Contract signing now supports “Sign later,” and family setup supports “Set up later.” • Refined the layout and interaction experience across tasks, check-ins, rewards, contracts, and sharing. • Improved Chinese and English localization, copy consistency, and overall stability.
