Useless

I get this timer app so I could set repeatable alerts to take medication for the next couple of days. Missing a dose means periods of extreme pain. I just woke up in agony after missing a dose to a silent notification box that a timer had gone off with no indication of a sound ever being played. I tried setting one up as a test and it seems that this timer app can’t do timers. If you need an app to file you lock screen with useless banners this $20 purchase is for you, otherwise, stay away.

Like the interval timers

I’ve been using Timer+ for years to keep my days and games on track, and it’s been great.
I just wanted to add that I really like the interval timers. I’ve set up my chair yoga routine, and it was easier than any of the other apps I’ve tried for exercise.
I especially liked the feature where I could choose my own sounds for both the exercise and the rest period. I get sensory overload from some sounds, so it’s lovely to be able to use sounds that are pleasant for me.
I also used the colours, so that the rest intervals look different on my iPad than the exercises.
You’ve done a great job in making this easy to set up.
I also liked the edit feature where I could move the exercises around without having to set it all up from the beginning and was able to expand my routine.

Highly recommended!

Seems simple right? Timer app? Nope! One of the most dynamic and powerful timer apps out there, developer listens to feedback, constant updates, timer history, multiple timers, highly recommend!!

Recent Update Fixed Volume Issues

Update: The newest update has resolved the volume issues. Thanks!

Old review: The newest update that said it fixed the volume issues actually now is causing the volume issue. The app worked fine for me before the most recent update. Idk what happened here. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, which didn’t fix the issue.

What can I use Timer+ for?

Timer+ is ideal for a wide range of activities including cooking multiple dishes, managing workouts with specific intervals, productivity sessions using techniques like Pomodoro, and keeping track of medication schedules. You can create, label, and reuse timers for yoga, study sessions, meetings, and much more.

What makes Timer+ different from the built-in Clock app?

Timer+ offers significantly more functionality than the basic Clock app. You can save and reuse custom timers, run multiple stopwatches concurrently, set timers to repeat automatically, adjust time while a timer is active, create very long timers (up to 99 days), and continue timing after a timer finishes to see the elapsed duration.

Can I create custom workout routines with Timer+?

Yes, Timer+ excels at creating custom and interval timers, making it perfect for workouts. You can build multi-segment timers for routines like Tabata or HIIT, setting custom names, durations, colors, and sounds for each segment. It also includes features like warm-up, cooldown, and rest intervals, with optional voice announcements.

Is Timer+ free to use?

The app is free to download and use, offering core timer and stopwatch functionalities. However, it does include in-app purchases, which likely unlock advanced features or customization options for users who need them.

What devices is Timer+ compatible with?

Timer+ is designed for mobile devices, including iPhones and iPads. It also offers integration with Apple Watch, allowing you to start timers and view running timers directly from your watch. Additionally, it supports Home Screen widgets for quick access and App Intents & Shortcuts for automation.
