As a lifelong Chattanooga resident, taking the paper was required reading. I had to “keep up” with the happenings in town. But in this now hyper-partisan world we live in, every media source I read is scrutinized for bias as I think there’s always a psyop operation at work. The Times Free Press is certainly in that category. The paper is, for the most part, a mashup of AP stories that I’ve already read and for the ones that are locally generated by journalists, very liberal in their slant. Bottom line is: the value is not there, so I cancelled my subscription.

I’m not receiving at this time . I have chosen to be frugal and apply our money to different things
Merci Beaucoup!!!
Great appreciation for coverage
WOULD BE DAILY PAPER PAPERS
It’s obvious that the editors and writers are leaning ‘left’ more than ever. Trump bashing is the new sport in CHA in seems. Showing respect for the President’s office and elected leaders is a thing of the past.
We live halfway between Chattanooga and Nashville, but the TFP is our choice for a daily paper. It has lots of regional news to keep us informed of events of interest. Plus a good blend of local, state and national news. We love it and we love Chattanooga!
CTFP has been a great local newspaper. I’ve been receiving it since 1996. They do their best with the limited resources they have. I think they do a great job showing both sides. Yes they may slant one side or another on an article but it’s to get us out of our complacency. I read both sides of the opinion pages. I enjoy their political cartoons as much as the left. I don’t always read the articles but I do have the ability to if I wanted to. I’m sure it’s a thankless job to make both sides happy but it would be scary if they closed their doors and no transparency of local government and news what’s going on until it happens.

It is very convenient to be able to take the TPF ANY WHERE
The Chattanooga Times-Free Press is one of the best papers in the country. A great mix of local, national, and world coverage organized in a well designed paper. Newspapers are the backbone of our democracy and the Times-Free Press has been able to bridge the digital gap extremely well. The app os easy to use and very user friendly. Thoroughly impressed.

Have called support and they refused to acknowledge the product being broken in iOS 17 or when the product fixes will be resolved. Help!!
This app hasn’t been updated in over a year. Doesn’t work on IOS 17.
Love the online edition but $34 a month is to much. Online should be cheaper than print. Been thinking about canceling.
Great paper been reading for years
Great well balanced local newspaper.
Way too expensive for what you get!,
Just when we finally got used to the digital format, the sudoku format changed. People who don’t use the games/puzzles to keep the aging mind sharp can’t appreciate the easier color coded puzzles that are no longer offering the challenge the over 50 population uses as a health tool. How unfortunate.

The paper leans way too far to the left.
I very much respect the professional journalism, balanced in terms of world and U.S. affairs as well as local. The editorials and commentaries are so well presented and thought provoking. We are lucky to have this level of professionalism here in our community.
I find that I read the Times Free Press so much less since six of the delivery days were eliminated.
