Stories are old. Top stories stay as top stories for several days.
Terrible App
The app crashes multiple times on an iPad. Fix the problem! Crashed 11 times this morning and can’t open stories on main page. Get someone who can actually make an app that works! We are paying for the news, not another frustration!

The newspaper is very handy to have. It is nice to be kept updated on local news along with world news.
Worked better before upgrading
Wish I could go back to the original app - they forced us into going to this new app and it doesn’t work half the time.. needs to be improved

Your app has problems on my iPhone 11. The top stories page does not open when the app starts. It causes the app to close almost immediately. Sometimes the app does open in the top stories page, but the app immediately closes when you touch a story to read it. The eNewspaper does work.

Can,t read as e-newspaper and no place to call for support
I have been reading The Times Herald for years on my iPad and in e-newspaper mode. Then one day I open your app and it’s in Top Story mode and will NOT open in e-newspaper mode.
I’ve cleared the iPad cache, turned the iPad off and on, deleted the app and reinstalled, checked to make sure my iPad and the Times Herald app were both up to date and they were. All to no avail. I cannot open the Times Herald in e-newspaper mode. To make matters worse I cannot find anywhere a phone number or website for support.

App Problems
Your app has problems on my iPhone 11. The top stories page does not open when the app starts. It causes the app to close almost immediately. Sometimes the app does open in the top stories page, but the app immediately closes when you touch a story to read it. The eNewspaper does work.

Whatever you did it is not good. I don’t pay to have advertisements pop up constantly. Also when I go to print my crossword there is no print option.
Rejected
bought the app and then got blocked because I didn’t have a subscription. No one can explain to me what happened. I assume now that I should have bought a subscription and then the app? That is not what the app said.

Hate the app!! Not user friendly. Takes two / three more steps than before to even pull up the daily paper. Today the paper won’t even load !!! Just a grey screen. I can get top story category open but not enewspaper. Happens now and then. Absolutely hate the new share page . Never says if page was sent . Only lights up emails in green once you press the send button. Not sure what is improved with this app- it’s more of a hassle to me now. Sorry . I wanted to like it , but it is an irritant everyday now. Won’t renew subscription . And again…… paper will not load !

Times Herald app
I moved home to Port Huron and wanted to stay up to date on local news. This app is perfect because I work out of town for several days at a time so getting the paper would be difficult. The app allows me to stay up to date even when away.

Comic Section changes
Times Herald comic section has been changed . “Get Fuzzy” and “Doonsberry “have recently been taken over by other comics that in my opinion are “lousy”. “Dilbert” disappeared several months ago.
Maybe it’s time to cancel my subscription. Local coverage has deteriorated over the years. This is what happens when a big companies take over small newspapers. I still have not made up my mind as to whether I should cancel.
