App was cool til it broke
No longer makes sound, and no access to a settings menu to try to figure out what needs fixing. So now its just worthless.

Any chance you’re using the speaker and have flipped the ring/silent switch off?
Súper App
Love the app! Once I figured out how to use the UI, it was super and fun to test myself. I love the fact that you can adjust your playing accuracy from loose to tight. Very fun way to learn polyrhythms without having to count every beat in your head and remember which beat they fall on, lol…
However, figuring it out was a bit confusing for me. The initial screen could use with a bit more words to explain what’s going on. Just a thought: I would consider replacing the number of beats with a single field and labeling “# beats, left”, also relabeling “one” to “down beat” and adding “left/right sound” to the center column.
Additionally, I wonder if you might consider a scrolling UI on the training screen for long exercises (6:7 at 42 beats) rather than splitting up the center into multiple columns. That way, the next beat will always be at the top of the screen rather than having to contort your brain to figure out… is it left or right, or when will it be? Hope that makes sense.
Anyway, let me know if you’d like to talk further would be happy to explain my thoughts. The logic of the app is superb I just find the UI to be wanting. Again, super job. Happy that this exists!

A “Must Have” App for ANY Musician.
This is so “neat” as we used to say. The simplicity of this app requires no instructions. Set the right and left sides to contrasting instruments and it’s easy to hear how both sides interact. At first I just tried all the number combinations to listen. Then today I tried the test mode. I love how it displays color intensity depending on how much your timing is off. There must be many Christopher Cross’s but wouldn’t be surprising if this program was written by the great American singer songwriter. Even if it isn’t, then both CC’s are geniuses! This IS a “must have” app for ANY musician. I’d be happy to pay a little bit for this, but FREE? No way! Yep it’s true. Thank you Chris!

Great…but
A brilliant app. However, it switches off when Lock Screen comes on. I can’t find the app in settings to allow to allow background refresh. Ian writing here because the support link goes to a webpage with no means of contacting you.
Would be great if you could help out as I love the app.

no sound
Love the concept of this app but can’t get the sound to work. Is there a fix?

Timeslicer won’t play through the speaker when your phone is in silent mode. Could that possibly be the problem here?
Best app
This is legitimately the best app on the app store. I can practice polyrhythms at home with the sound and visuals, and can even practice on the go with the rhythm tap game. Cant believe its free!
Fantastic
Perfectly made and perfectly simple, absolutely gorgeous visualization and straightforward controls, exactly what I was looking for. Extremely based to make it free and adless, I wish there was a place to make a voluntary donation. Thank you for your wonderful service you tip top human
The best!
I forgot to mention one more thing. Ok two more.
I wish:
-the was a quick button to swap between left and right tempo
-the tempo could go much faster

Looks good, but don’t work
Maybe it’s because my iPhone is under iOS 16: the app shows up but no sound is coming out of it. Tried everything, this app don’t make any sound. Will update my review when it will be functional.

Beats the lot
Oh this is phenomenal. Whoever you are thanks for making it— couldn’t be improved.
Great tool for feeling polyrhythms
Great design and very intuitive for wrapping your mind around polyrhythms. If sound doesn’t work for you, make sure your phone is not set on silent or connected to Bluetooth. Seems the only critique is that the tempo doesn’t go fast enough for certain polyrhythms.
Soundless
The app works well visually and is a great idea; but it’s lacking sound and so seemingly defective. Hopefully they fix this.

Finally
Simple to use, not bombarded with ads, just thank you. I will definitely follow what you guys come up.
This is amazing. Groove out.
Best polyrhythm app I’ve seen so far. Extremely customizable. Something every musician should practice regularly. Especially rhythm section players, obviously.
This is pure musical challenge and an incredible tool for growth. Thank you developers. You’re fighting for the greater good, and there’s certainly no way you’re getting the kind of compensation you very much deserve ✌🏼

Amazing app!
A recommendation: make the tempo scale to the higher polyrhythms
Great app for polyrhythmic training!
As a professional drummer, I wish I had something like this growing up, and am grateful to have it now. It’s a really great way to hear, visualize, and actually get the feel of the correct hits in your hands and fingers.
Great app
I came from Reddit with the tales of this great app! And yes it is a app to lose time with, thank you sir or madam
