I began using Timewerks when I formed a consulting firm. I needed an app to track hours so that I could accurately invoice clients. After 15 years I still use this app and have never had a client question where I spent my hours as everything is detailed. All of my invoices are on the cloud I don’t usually accessed. The ability to keep track of hours and then in a matter of minutes create and send an invoice is one of the strongest features of this app.

I’ve been using Timewerks for many years to efficiently bill my clients before I even drive away, invoice, send by email and the bill is in their hands in 10 seconds. It’s simple too. Not a bloated pig with features you never use. This thing takes care of business.

When I first bought this, it did not fit my working style, so I emailed the developer. Steve Orth responded quickly, and acknowledged my requests for changes. I asked for control of invoice numbers - done. I asked for more control of timers (minutes instead of quarter hours) - done. I wanted to be able log the start, take notes, and close off the service call - done. I asked for number of running timers on home screen - done. I could go on, but Steve is bringing changes in very rapidly, and improving this app faster than I really expected. A smooth running, useful app, reasonable price, and a communicative, co-operative developer. (and I paid $70 for the same function on a windows pocket mobile phone, but I could not email invoices from the phone!)

AWESOME!!!
I have been using this invoicing app for years, it is, by far, the best time billing app out there.
A great program for me.
I used to have a terrible time recording my hours and then spent hours preparing the invoices.
Often I would have to spend a very long time at the end of the month looking through my emails and texts and telephone calls and try to re-create my billing detail. I know this process missed many legitimate hours to be billed. And also just made me angry at myself for being disorganized.
But with Timewerks it’s ridiculously easy. I find it so good that I’ve never shopped competing apps. So I can’t claim I’ve tried them all and this is the best. I just know it’s wonderful.
Do, however invest in the remote back up option from Timewerks so that if anything ever goes wrong with your iPhone you haven’t lost that critical data.
And, by the way, this is not One of those fake paid-for reviews. I’ve been using this app with delight for about the last four years.

Indie dev app dream.
I love it. I’ve invoiced my hours in this app for 6 years.
Lack of customer support
I used this product previously and recently downloaded it again for another project that I’m working on. I paid for the year upgraded service and went to do an invoice for a client and something went wrong. There is no phone number to call and I really need to talk to someone as soon as possible. I had tried to email support and it took a week for someone to get back to me and what they sent was a templated response that didn’t answer my question and wrote back again and asked for a customer service phone number and no response. Very frustrating.

I’ve used this to manage my LLC for 8 years now. Solid tool and when I’ve had a question, great customer support. Has made invoicing and hour tracking a breeze.
Awesome simple billing app for contractors
I have been using this app for at least 3 years and it works great. I can easily keep track of hours and materials purchased. When i need to bill there is a professional pdf invoice i can email or print out for the customer. Great for record keeping at end of year with the ability to upload key data for accounting purposes. Everything always works. Nice app

Keeps all my invoicing straight
Easy to enter time immediately and then generate monthly customized invoices. Also keeps an online backup.

So let me start by saying I got this app back in 2010. I’m a handyman so basically I use this application every day. I’ve never ever had
one issue with this app until four days ago
when Apple rolled out iOS 11 and when I
went to email an invoice to a client I realize I couldn’t. I was to say the least devastated
but I found an email address in the help
section of the app and let Timewerks know
about the issue. Within a couple days of communications with Stephan we were able to figure out what the problem was and within three days an update was waiting for me at the App Store. That’s what I call the epitome of customer service!
If you’re even remotely considering this app I can say without hesitation buy it. It would be a steal for twice the price!!

This app is so incredibly easy to use and just what I need for my business. Also, 10 star rating for customer service. I mean, above and beyond the call of duty! Seriously! They went out of their way to help me with a problem that I created by an absolutely stupid mistake on my part. They fixed the problem and got me on my way again. Thank you Stephen! Great app, great customer service
I have been using this app for years and it is my favorite time tracker for freelance and contract work. When I reinstalled the app for a new contract, customer service was swift and effective in restoring my lost modules. Bonus: keep track of billing and invoices! Recommend highly!

Clunky - bait and switch
Like many apps, liked this app ok when it came out, despite it's clunky navigation. Since I've updated to the latest version on my new phone, I'm now being asked to pay for PDF export and logo - two things that were already there in the original version! Also you still can't switch to different currencies without going into your phones default settings and there's not even room to put your clients address, only your own! Nope.

Best App out there!!
Used this app for the last 4 years, tried other but this has been the best one hands down.
My phone crashed this week and lost all information for the last 4 years and was able to work with support from Timewerks and he worked with me all day. I was able to purchase a back up to restore everything. The cost of the back up was nothing and I'm a happy customer!! Thanks Sorth Llc for creating such a great app.

Dont buy!!!!!!
Ridiculous app and cowboy in-app purchases!!!!
No customer service after paid for app!
Not a bad app but a lot more complicated than it needs to be, whilst at the same time missing some basic features such as charging structures and being able to back-set the timer. What annoys me most is that the customer service is great on the free version, but as soon as you pay emails go unanswered! I have emailed twice (same people as when I had the free version) and now there is no response whatsoever!
