Crashed and wiped out all my information
After three years of entering billing information on all my accounts, Timewerks had an update and my entire business is gone, won’t let me retrieve back up or anything. Lost thousands.

We’re very sorry for the frustration this caused. A recent update introduced a launch crash on some iPad devices. This issue did not delete or erase customer data — it prevented the app from opening. The problem was identified and fixed quickly in version 4.4.1. If you’re still unable to access your information, please contact us directly at support@sorth.com. Such a comprehensive app!
Need to put in a retainer/deposit? You can. Need a timer to track your task so it can automatically bill? You can. Need to have multiple projects under one client? You can! Need something to automate your invoices? You can! I can’t find anything else that I need! This app has it all!

Hours Only
Can not add materials to time and or invoice so it is pretty much useless for me because now I have to create another document or edit the invoice this generates which negates the purpose of using this alltogether. No response when I reached out to why this is. Other than that it works ok, not very intuitive at all so it takes a long time to figure out how it works.

Terrific Invoicing and Project Management App
I have been using TimeWerks Pro for for the past ten years for my psychotherapy and consultation business and I have been very happy with it. I am able to quickly and easily create bills patients and organizations that I consult with. If you bill by the minute, the Task Timer is very useful. The customer support has been awesome. It is such a well made app, the need to even contact customer support has been minimal. Most recently I contacted the developer with a problem I noticed during backup of data. He got in touch with me right away and was able to fix the problem. For those of you who don’t like reading manuals, the user interface is extremely intuitive. You will have your accounts set up and creating invoices very quickly. Backing up data is a breeze and necessary in this day and age. I highly recommend the Pro version of the app so that you can sync your data across devices, create pdf versions of your invoices, and have a custom logo on your bills.

New version has a sign-in bug
When you try to enter a password iOS, when creating a new sign-in, the keyboard disappears. Not very helpful.
Best app and customer support ever
I have been using this app for years… I seriously could not live without it to run my business! On top of it being such a helpful and efficient app, I have never encountered such great customer service. Any time I’ve had a problem or an issue and I’ve reached out to them I get an actual person that responds and helps solve that issue. Truly amazing in this day and age!!

Useful but needs further improvements.
I have used this app for about a year. It helps me collect my time billing information while on the road for later input into other systems. Lacks ability to export to excel or csv. Screen management for data entry is clumsy between portrait and landscape. Would be useful also to share data between multiple devices (iPhone and iPad)

One star because of the annoying pop-up
I only installed this app today. While learning to use it keeps producing annoying pop-ups asking to rate it. You hit the not now button and it pop ups agin less then a minute later. That is annoying so that is why it’s one star only.

Love the invoices and an app to keep track of time and materials. but wish I didn’t have to put in 1.00 for a purchase I made for the client and hrs should start at 0 mins. I do hrs and never need 15 mins.
Werks pretty nicely
The learning curve was steep for me, but it has been worth it. I track hours for my one-man construction company with this app. The invoices look good, and it’s easy enough to log my time with my iPad.

This is hands down the best app for self employed tradespeople. I can't think of anything I would change. I track my time and bill at the end of the day, or I can go from service call to service call and bill each one on their time before I leave the driveway. It makes my life so much easier and lets my customers think I know how to run a business. It also gets me paid much quicker, often before I leave the job.
It keeps my long projects organized by letting me bill as needed while keeping track of it all to simplify the final bill. Definitely a money maker.

I am a carpenter contractor and after trying many apps to track time and material ,this is the best app that i found to be user freindly and offers all the catagories for daily use. Worth every penney
Good, but could be better.
I like the ability to bill for time and expenses, especially the expenses. The app doesn't seem very intuitive, though. I would also like to be able to load more client contact info, like phone numbers, fax numbers, and addresses. I would also like the option of having the client's mailing address print on the invoice. There is a large gap between the bottom of the invoice header and the billing information in the PDF format.

Easy and erased all my data
Great to use, easy setup. Loved it. Until it erased all my projects and time billed. For something this important this is unacceptable. Tried to restore and nothing. Complete garbage.
Terrible App
Does not do anything it says. Cannot edit or delete any information, including invoices or estimates. Cannot add clients, cannot edit invoices. Waste of money and time. Do not buy
Must Have
I used the original version of Timewerks for several years now. Great app. When I lost my iPad I was able to retrieve my data on my iPhone and when I purchased a new iPad I was able to restore everything.
I hit a little snag, in restoring, but a couple quick emails to the company and I was golden. They created a great app and then back it up with the support I needed. PDF Invoicing is great and has been an asset to my business. Completely recommend.

Buggy/crashes
Does not work. Creates erroneous duplicate project and hours won't stick. Tried several times to input one input one simple job, but no luck. :-(
Not to good yet
The program has potential but has lots of bugs and crashes at times. It's kind of hard to use because there are quite a few steps to go through just to create a invoice but it is usable after some practice. Hopefully all the bugs are fixed soon.
