What's New in Timezone Spoofer

1.2.12

September 3, 2026

• Fixed: automatic timezone switching after connecting or disconnecting a VPN now works reliably on macOS and iOS without restarting Safari or pressing Re-detect. Safari was suspending the extension's background process and never waking it again; the extension now runs its background in a mode Safari wakes up correctly • Fixed: the detected location could stay on the previous country for a few minutes after a VPN toggle, or flip back and forth between two timezones. Results that would change the timezone are now confirmed by a second geolocation service, and only one check runs at a time • Timezone re-check is also triggered on every page load, so opening a new tab after toggling VPN picks up the new timezone right away • Bug fixes and reliability improvements
