TIMPS (Track Inspection)

App Overview: Track Inspection, Maintenance, Scheduling and Planning System (TIMPS) is designed to help railroad personnel, maintenance supervisors, and inspection teams to plan, schedule and manage tracks and other assets inspections/tests. Perform testing of all track assets as per the frequencies prescribed by the railroad and regulatory authorities like FRA/TC requirements. Key Features: The mobile app is powered with numerous features that help achieve end to end solution. These include: • Basic server setup to access cloud data • Data synchronization between mobile app and cloud-based server • Online and Offline asset test performance • Filling up Job briefings, where required, prior to performing tests • Data validations at various points • Cloud based configurations to enforce railroad rules • User profile updates including password change, signature setting, and profile picture • Existing inspections color-coded views to show available, upcoming, expiring and overdue asset tests along with number of days remaining • Performance of tests along with asset condition and test results in the shape of forms and reports • Multi sessions support for execution of any inspection before it is finally closed • Enable users to report asset defect/deficiency along with images, voice and textual notes. The user can also specify applicable remedial actions • Map view support to see assets location and/or defect reporting point location on map • Support to modify/update asset locations to more accurate positions using map • Dashboard view to show active job briefings, inspections and maintenance along with number of defects/deficiencies reported during inspection • Robust support for maintenance activities planning and execution including material management where applicable • On-site Work order creation and execution • Multiple user check-in/check-out support for maintenance/work orders completion. Also support for work order approval process where required • Various data filters and search functions for enhanced user experience • Interface to access and print different reports directly from cloud including line inspection reports, detailed switch reports, track disturbance reports, CWR maintenance records, job briefings and many other custom reports • Active inspection reports: i) ‘Time & GPS Report’, ii) ‘Time & GPS Map Report’ • Fully compatible with iPad devices of all generations
