App is shutdown
So for all the people having problems where they can’t sign in it’s because the app got shutdown and what it seems like it might be permanent idk maybe temporarily
Bug for logging in
I went to log back in after being signed out and I can’t log in at all. There are so many bugs when trying to log in… please fix this. I really like this app
Occasional tech issues
I love TinCan and enjoy the concept behind it but sometimes, there’s a glitch in communication. I’ve had an issue with logging in :(. Been unable to log in since the update and feel frustrated that I couldn’t find help easily. Would love to come back to the app after a while (and hopefully give it the 5 stars the developers deserve)

I love this app, i love talking to people + listening to them talk but i haven’t been able to view a single live or sign in for months !! please fix !!
End of an Era
I initially joined this app over four years ago when it was still fairly new bc A favorite YouTuber of mine was promoting it. I meant to only have it for a day or so but ended up keeping it for the next four years. I’ve made many friends, laughed many laughs, and cried many cries. The Tin Can community was always there for me through the ups and downs and was always so I voting and warm. Tin can thank you for everything, you will be missed 🥺🫶🏼

No Facebook login
After almost a year, I can’t recover my old tincan account that I use to login, now I had to restart all over again. Updates after updates the staff continues to say they was going to work on it and never do. This is a one of the main issues why people isn’t active on there smh.

🥫Heya Nickayee! We do apologise for the disruptions in our Facebook login. However, as per our latest update, new users can now sign-up using Facebook. Unfortunately, due to the new meta system, past Facebook sign-in accounts can no longer be accessed, requiring users to make new accounts. A phone number validation in now a part of the Facebook sing-up process for added security and to prevent this from happening again. We do understand the the frustration this may cause and for that we apologise. 🧶

Auto for Live
Tincan so far does not have many people on it but it’s not that bad but the auto for each live is so loud even if you put the volume on the lowest settings tincan you guys should look into it can be so loud so please try too make a setting too adjust the auto

I love this app but it is in need of some improvements. 1) Call Ins- I am constantly having to restart my lives because when people join the call ins you can not always hear them…several of my friends also have this issue..it would also be nice to have more call in slots 2) Interrupted lives- when receiving phone calls you have so many seconds to return to the app before your live ends however it automatically closes even if you come back in time or if you never took the call 3) Tin Cash/Converting- The app is great but it mostly consists of the same people that are always on which makes it harder to earn money since not everyone on the app is willing to send you the coins and the amount of coins it takes to actually make money is outrageous considering that you are literally just around the same people each day ***A lot of my fellow casters feel as though the app has been forgotten about..it is in desperate need of some revamping but overall I genuinely love this app because of its simplicity but it would be nice if had more attention

While this app does have a way to bring outcasted socially awkward people in their community to mingle socially (especially during Covid-19) I feel as if this app is only relevant during quarantine and this pandemic due to the mediocre features it has and community it brings in.
Make no mistake the community on Tin Can is quiet awkward and can be very weird and at times uncomfortable due to the people that are allowed on the app, not to mention the bias moderators who appeal to the business aspect of moderation and not the moral aspect. Which in worldwide society, not just American, is totally understandable. But certain punishments must be inflicted despite the following base of the user.
The apps poorly does a good job on keeping it evolving, recently they added a feature where you can group chat with multiple people on their live which is the reason I gave it two stars not one because it does show diversity, but the feature isn’t that spectacular after so long, and people now are not using it as much as when it was first released because it is a dull update.
Tin Can needs to instrument features where you can change the theme and not have the same old black-brown layout which is extremely dull to look at if you are a consistent user.
The audio tape feature is alright, but maybe at times give more praise to people who have bigger following, acts of superiority on apps like that based on fan base is a psy-op grinding mechanism which can make people want to rise to the top of being deemed, “Tin Can Famous” which would make it more interesting rather than the average hop in someone’s live, talk, and then leave. Even if they added a credibility feature which represents something or badge feature similar to the Reddit karma system that would even be interested.
Overall:
Tin can is a below average version of spoon and instagram live feature which only gained popularity during the pandemic and fails to show evolution and diversity from other apps which are like similar to it, but better. Yes there are other apps than Tin Can.

Tincan is one of the best apps I’ve seen for live streaming the only bad thing about it right now is the cash out minimum is $100 other than that it’s great
