I recommend this adorable game ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Hi! This game is so amazing and addictive! One glitch is when a bird flies in to visit your garden if you go to the menu tab or any tab in the game the bird still flies on your screen, (For fans of “Alex the honking bird” I recently reached 10 hearts (max) with Alex the honking bird and renamed him “Honky Potter” because it’s a cute name. Also RIP ALEX I LOVE U!!) and when I went to give him a cute hat the screen went black then randomly went back to normal but everything was like sci-fi glitchy and laggy. Dude that was creepy.. anyway.. thanks!! (°▽°)

Too much cute birds and also really good game

There’s so many cute birds like there’s one that stole my heart faster than this book and game called klepto dogs I literally said they can steal your heart faster than they can steal your sandwich and they can do that really fast but that birds do it faster I mean gosh darn it was so cute and there was another one Hammons that was the best customer and he was adorable so yeah I have to get a five star review and for people that like adorable games that bring them to their happy place I would 100% recommend this and the maker of this game please text back I would love that because I don’t really review that often but this game deserves one

It’s adorable! But sad to see the baby bird fly away

So I just raise A little bird named Bert. Bert is a little hatchling Who needs some love and happiness Inside his Little heart❤️ it took me days of having fun with Bert until it was time The time for Bert to fly away when it was time The nursery took me high
into the clouds and I saw him without the swirly hair on his head
He was an adult bird a full grown a bird and flyaway after he did that he send me a heartwarming letter it was a cute & sad sight to see i’m still glad that I can turn him into just the cute hatchling he was before!

Not Enough Content

I love birds enough that I keep this game anyway, but in general there’s... just... not enough to do, even as far as simulation games go. You buy a few trinkets, decorate the garden, fill the bird feeder, and you just... wait. And when birds do show up you only get one line of interactivity and then they just... sit there and do nothing! They don’t even seem to interact with other birds! Even more insultingly enough I realized when I’ve done the 3 things you can interact with and close out the program, then come back to it a few hours later, you get all sorts of letters and notifications telling you all the birds you missed while you were gone! As if the game punishes you for not giving it full attention for hours on end, when all the gameplay that’s available in one sitting is just 5 minutes max.

Am I missing something here? Because all I see is a cute art style (and well designed birds). I don’t know anything about this developer, but from a technical standpoint I feel like they’ve -barely- made a game here, and I don’t particularly feel strongly about shelling out money for something you don’t do anything with. This is just eye candy with no substance, just like 80% of all other mobile games, and that disappoints me because I also saw this game for sale on Steam, so I THOUGHT there was more to it.

i absolutely love this game!!

as a 17 year old i NEVER write reviews on apps, but i just had to get it out! this game just makes me feel so wholesome and warm inside! from the birds reminding you of your worth and to take care of yourself, to the SWEETHEARTS that are the human characters you can interact with, not to mention how beautiful this game and its art is from a visual perspective, (and how CUTE this game is!) there’s nothing not to love! i wish i could give it a star for every time this game has surprised me with something so small, SO minor that just absolutely makes my heart EXPLODE! (in the best way possible). i absolutely love this game-the ads are small and short and absolutely worth keeping my data on to hope all of the creators get every penny they deserve! thank you so much for everything you’ve done in this game and you are doing wonderfully! i hope you’re having a wonderful night as you read this❤️🐓🦜🕊

Absolutely amazing

I love this game, and I might be slightly addicted. I have always had a love for birds, and when my friend recommended this game i almost said no, but I’m glad I didn’t. This game has so many cute and small birds, and they all have cute dialogue. Some even give cute life quotes, which I greatly appreciate. This game is so calming and just gives me so much happiness, and it’s amazing. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Depression and ADD (and some others) at a young age, but this game just makes me so happy when I feel like the world has turned its back. It gives me something to focus on, and something to calm me down, it’s amazing! My only complaint would be that the game tends to lag a bit when you go to the shiny shop or nursery. Although this might just be my internet acting up as usual. But anyway, this game is completely amazing and it has brought me so much joy just to see these little birds on my screen, so thank you to the creator(s) of this amazing game, five stars, highly recommended. (Sorry for my rambling).

Good for the soul

I can’t begin to describe how much I love this little game. It’s reminiscent of neko atsume, but with a lot more vibrancy and a lot of love. The in-game currency is fair (you can watch ads for feathers too!), there’s so many different birds to see, and I adore the nursery where you can take care of little birdies too. But what gets me is how *positive* the atmosphere is. The characters you meet and talk to in the game are kind and warm, and the birds are just the same. Everything is so lighthearted and loving. To me, coming to this game feels how coming home should feel. To the developer, thank you. Thank you so much. This game has brought me a lot of peace.

Just like Neko Atsume, But BETTER

This is just like Neko Atsume only better! It’s an amazing game! I love the different options in how you can dress them up and get different birds!! The art style is so cute too and the fact I’m already shipping people most like means there’s a good story line! Maybe we can do tasks for the different people like find a new bird or be on the app at a certain time, we maybe could even design bird hats out of the feathers we get (human hats and other clothes could work too) maybe for one Retta if you hatch a new bird you get a new egg she found or some maybe new seeds! I suggest, the harder the quest the greater the prize! I love this game so much and I just got it!!

It’s cute, but gets boring quickly...

There really isn’t much to do in this game. Put out seeds, meet different birds, put hats on them, and buy them treats. There’s an “affinity” aspect to the game, meaning if the bird loves you enough, you’ll know more things about them and they’ll also send you letters, but I find that even after buying one bird several different hats and all the treats available, I still wasn’t able to reach any sort of meaningful affinity with them. Oh, I guess there are options to raise baby birds and “talk” to random people too, but those options aren’t very fun nor do they add anything except the illusion that there’s more to the game. I did spend 20 dollars in micro transactions because I see potential in this game, but it’s not really there yet. I’d like to see what more the developer can add to make it better.

Needs some polish

A simple and fun game that helps fill time. Could use polish is some areas, like when taking pictures of birds in the top of the garden, part of the UI is included in the shot. This is a particular shame for me as I like to take pictures of the birds with their speech bubbles to share with friends. Related to that, there could be an option to save pictures directly to the device when taking them. Finally, video ads can be very loud and can start playing unexpectedly after a screen transition. I’ve taken to playing the game only after muting my iPad, which is a shame as the music is very nice and calming.

A Wholesome Good Time

I almost never write reviews, but I have never been more pleased with a game than Tiny Bird Garden. It’s fun, simple, and very feel-good. I highly recommend it to any bird lover or fan of tomogatchi-like experiences. The in-app purchases are not forced even in the slightest, and you can still get the full experience without them. The birds all have wonderful personalities, and trying to discover their favorite treats and toys based on their info is such a neat mechanic! I feel like baby birds could be added on to a little more, but it doesn’t damper the experience much. Overall, if you’re considering getting this game, please do!! It’s absolutely lovely, and overflowing with charm.

Cute game!

I just recently downloaded this game and gave a good look over most of the reviews. The rude ones are just mostly stuff about the ads, but how do you think the developer gets most of her money? I also like how the developer responded calmly and gave the rude users a place to explain their problems. So far, I’ve loved the art of the game and the cute idea of little birds coming into your garden. It reminds me exactly like Nemo Atsume, a game which I still love and play today. Anyone reading this should definitely download this game and see what they think, because I’m positive you will absolutely love it!

A literal lifesaver

I’ve had severe depression most of my life. This winter, it guy really bad and all I could bring myself to do was go to work. I found myself switching between the same few apps with no interest. I was browsing the App Store one day, saw this, and downloaded it. The bright colors and the friendly vibes I got from it were great! It was simple enough I could easily get into it. It really helped when I was sad because the little birds are so happy! I do t have the words to properly describe this game other than excellent

Great game! You should totally get it!

I don’t usually write reviews and I am writing one now so that is saying something. This app I really fun and all the tiny birds are really adorable and realistic, other then the fact that they talk of course! I really love what you can buy them and I love the nursery! It is very fun and entertaining to raise your own tiny birds! One thing I really like about the nursery is, that when you feed them you choose a color food you feed them. The color you pick is the color the baby bird starts to turn, so let’s say you feed him a red piece of food then he will start to turn red. Yes, you can change the color halfway through, so if you just feed it a yellow piece then right after that you feed it a green piece the bird has this mixed color. It is really cute! So you should totally get this game I have no regrets it was the best! It has turned into one of my favorite games.

Really Cute Concept For A Bird Lover Like Me :)

So I love birds, as you can see in the title, also I have 5 parakeets. When I found this game I fell in love with it, and also the prices for feathers are really cheap compared to most apps,
and along with that, they also thank you for purchasing by taking time out of working on the game to make that, and removing ads. The game is very charming and one of the best if not the best idle game I’ve played. The concept is pretty cute and haven’t ran into any bugs. The only thing I could suggest is making feathers a little easier to obtain, and bringing more features from the TBGD on computer. Other than that, I would rate this game a 10/10. 🐧🐦🐤🐔🦆🦉🦅🦜🕊🦚

I’m hooked on this game! (Updated)

I still like this game and so far I’m enjoying the new updates, but there’s definitely a bug in the treat tracker for birds...I can’t see all the treats (can only see the 1st 4 treats, while the background scrolls the treats shown stays the same) and I’m pretty sure it’s not actually tracking treats either. Other than this loving the update! I like that birds come in the game too now, so you don’t have to close and open to get more.

I love this game! A simple concept, but immensely fun. I. Also find the creator’s story to be super compelling do that also pushed me to make an in app purchase (the $10 pack, really worth it!).

Full and thankful heart

Was having a rough day, so I opened up Tiny Bird Garden to help make it better. Oooooohh, an update!!! Adorable animated drawings at startup... Ability to watch the birds come and go... Treat tracker... Hatching babies... And of course new birds - including Alex the Honking Bird!! There are a few bugs to be fixed in this version, and the app crashes occasionally, but I am confident they are already working on it. I plan to install the latest iPhone update which may help with that, too. These sweet, funny avian (and human) characters make me smile and take a little time to relax :) I am 39 y/o mom and in the midst of the busyness of life I still appreciate those positive reminders... “Did I get enough water today? Wow, yeah I need to take a break and de-stress...” The thoughtfulness put into this game keeps me playing! While you don’t need any money to play it, I have gladly spent a couple bucks here and there to support the developers. Well worth it! Thanks for all you do, and keep up the good work! God bless and keep you, and all who play too ❤️

February 2019 update has problems

I love the game and I’ve been playing for a few months. However, the recent update has some issues.
- Treat tracker. The idea is great, because I always wondered which birds had which treats. However, this feature doesn’t work well on my iPhone. I can only see the first few treats. When you try to scroll, only the background scrolls.
- Ads cover the bird interaction buttons. When there’s an ad at the bottom, you cannot select the individual birds in the garden.
- Previous treats - gone? It appears that all of the treats that I previously gave to tiny birds are now gone. I have friendship points for each bird, but it appears that the update wiped out the treats that I had previously given to each bird.
I hope these little glitches can be fixed soon. I really enjoy this game. It’s relaxing and fun.

Hi there! The scrolling issue and the ad banner in main the garden have been fixed as of the newest patch (1.3.3). As the treat tracker is a new feature, any treats given before the 1.3.2 update won't appear within it.

The sweetest, best thought out app

Disclaimer: this is not for those who want an actual game with game features like mini games, puzzles, what have you. Game play is generally 10 minutes or less per time you open it.

I would say that this game is akin to a greatly improved neko atsume. If they would ever consider making a cat or dragon oriented app I would be floored.

The art is soooo aesthetically pleasing, and as I recently discovered the music is lovely. There are variety of pronouns (he/she/they) rather than the standard two which is such a pleasant touch. The descriptions on every item/non-bird is fun, and the descriptions of the bird are very informative to their personality as well as potentially heart-tugging. Oh also the birds can say some really nice things to you.

A beautiful blend of aesthetics, sweetness, and humor. It brings me a lot of comfort.

If I had to critique, I’d say it frustrates me when the tutorial girl always pops up during a miss-click on something. I feel like it might be possible to turn that off, so it might not be a necessary critique. The other “critique” is that I really would love to be able to watch the birds come and go somehow.

I really hope you keep updating the game and adding more! It’s amazing. There is more good stuff about it but this is already so long. Much love!

Thank you for the kind words! You'll be happy to learn as of 1.3.2 the birds visit and leave the garden in real time. :]

So cute!

I saw Game Grumps play this and decided to check it out. It is adorable! I love all the unique birds and the different things you can find out about them. My only issues are that it’s not really clear how to get more hearts other than getting their favorite treats or hats and it’s not always clear what their favorites are. Because of that, it is a bit frustrating to spend your feathers on things you think will be their favorites only to be wrong and then the item is stuck with them so you have to rebuy the items again and again. I feel like if the item is not a favorite of theirs, you should be able to take it back into your inventory to use on another bird so you don’t have to constantly rebuy things. I don’t think this would cause any loss in play because you still have to figure out who would like it best and each bird has multiple favorites so you still have to get to know them and not just apply everything until something sticks. Just a suggestion. Other than that everything else is amazing!
