Hasn’t been working lately

I have had this version and the iPhone version installed for years, but lately the articles will not load at all. There is nothing wrong with my wifi or internet connection and everything else works fine. I have always liked this app, but now I am very disappointed. This needs to be fixed.

How do I cancel this app

With the 4.7 rating and the reviews I downloaded this app. It isn’t a simple guide with specific topics and it seems to be aimed at OS16
I’m using OS17 so the app is useless for me. Also, as with other apps there is no mention of its cost then costs spring up,,,just be upfront about costs. Also you have to use the fingerprint thing which gives no indication of price. How can I uninstall and wipe out any hidden cost.

Hi John, thanks for your feedback. Our tips are fully updated for iOS 17, but still mention many iOS 16 features which are still relevant. We do offer a Premium subscription which removes ads and unlocks bonus content, but this is completely optional and certainly not a 'hidden' cost. Apple doesn't allow that. If you're still interested in a simple guide with specific topics, check out the completely free 'All Tips' section of the app which is split into handy chapters and covers all the basics and more. If you're worried you accidentally signed up for a subscription, you can check that in Settings > iCloud > Subscriptions. Hope this helps! Kind Regards, Tom (Editor)

This Used To Be A Great App

Have had this app for a long time and it was one of my favorites. Not sure what happened but now it loads the available articles in the left side panes, but any that you click on never load, just spins and spins. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling to no avail. BTW, the ads still load just fine!

App won’t update (Premium content)

This app will notify you that it has updates but will hang with screen saying “Downloading Tips Content” for an eternity and never update. Been a day now for me! Yes, apps been open the whole time. So you reboot etc. etc. etc. and no luck. Then you look for email address to email them as to the problem but it says contact Apple Support. Ok, did that and Apple says this is a third party application and we don’t support that. I agree, but Apple has no email and/or phone number for them. So you’re stuck all the way around. My suggestion: Don’t put out the $50.00 plus for Premium tips. Obviously this company has no interest in talking to people nor do they care that the app don’t work. Fortunately Apple put in for refund.

Not compatible with iPad?

When viewing on iPad Pro the advert at the bottom of the page prevents me from viewing the menu. I can only read news. Unable to choose tips. Very disappointing as this is a great app. I use the phone app to keep up to date with news and tips.
Wish I could see the tips for my new iPad.

Good info - horrible implementation

Although there’s a ton of helpful info here, there is one extremely annoying thing about:

It doesn’t remember the last page you looked at, even if you switch to another app for only a few seconds. This has been true for months! Not even an ability to set bookmarks!!

I tried the in-app purchase, and this didn’t provide any improvement.

Something that is supposed to save time by putting news together, ends up wasting time looking for where you left off.

Better if it could answer important questions

This app has great info. Unfortunately it’s never the info I am looking for! What is needed is an app like tap smart that would answer everyday quandaries people have no idea what to do with. For example : how does one safely move photos from an iPad to back up or computer?.

Fast and easy way to get the most out of iPad & iPhone

Since installing this app I’ve learned more about the capabilities of my iPlatforms than I could if I’d waded through the User Manuals. They are good but Tips & Tricks is not only concise but often suggests things I would never have thought to investigate.

HOWEVER I wish that when I get multiple notifications on my iPad/Phone and tap one of them the rest wouldn’t instantly disappear. Finding them again in the app is not as intuitive as it should be

Can't access

I have been using this for updates and helpful hints for years and now all of a sudden the app will not open. I have made sure that the app is updated and I have also shut down my iPad and relogged back on. Can you please check.
