This is honestly really fun, I moved from polybuzz to this when I had to start watching long ads just to talk to the AI for about 20 minutes, I’ve only had this app for about a day or so and quite honestly it’s really fun! Wide variety, and best of all… NO ADS! Thank GOD there’s no ads! Although I will say one of my downsides to it is the whole gems thing but who am I to judge?

It is super fun and engaging with the storytelling; I have done one story for far because of the gem usage which I think is my only biggest downfall but to keep it going you would have to have some kind of revenue coming in. Overall I like that there is so many characters, plots, choices, it is very much how you want to progress the story and take whatever avenue.

Too MONEY HUNGRY (what’s new 😒)
Can’t even get into the gameplay, bc everytime I do anything they are asking to buy gems so I can’t get into the story. I deleted it, and won’t be downloading again. What happened to games being fun for free and making you actually want to spend money on extra things instead of requiring it? Just greedy.

Incredible Stories, But I Used All My Gems in 3 Days (prenium)
I really love Tipsy Chat and it is honestly one of the best AI roleplay apps I have tried. The stories are immersive, the characters feel more alive, and it does a much better job than many other apps at creating a world where I feel like I am the main character.
However, the gem system is becoming the biggest issue. I subscribed to the premium plan, but because I enjoy long, detailed stories, I used all of my gems in only 3 days. I only use text conversations and never use image features, so it was disappointing to run out so quickly even after paying for a premium subscription.
I would love to see an unlimited text/story subscription option in the future. Many users who enjoy long roleplay adventures would gladly pay a higher monthly price for unlimited conversations instead of constantly worrying about running out of gems.
Tipsy Chat has incredible potential. The quality of the writing, storytelling, and character interactions is already excellent — an unlimited story mode would make it one of the best AI roleplay apps available.
Please consider adding an unlimited plan for dedicated users who spend hours creating and exploring stories on your platform.

Fun if you're rich
I absolutely love the app. The story telling aspect and how you can take any baseline story and really make it your own makes it so addicting. The major issue really is the gems. Slowly but sure your messages will increase from 8-10 gems per message to some chats costing almost 30 gems, even on lower settings. The one avenue of getting free gyms is referrals but the "system busy, please try again later" message has popped up on someone who I referred to the game for what feels like 24 hours straight at this point. If I hit the lottery than maybe I'll be able to play without interruption. Definitely need to find ways to allow for more than 50 free gems a day.

The best
First time ever using an AI story app but I am obsessed with it! I check in, way more than I should. It leaves you hooked. I suggest if you're a new user to get as many gems as possible by using codes, sharing and checking in daily!

I’ve been enjoying Tipsy overall and think it has a lot of potential. The roleplay experience is engaging, and it’s one of the better apps I’ve tried.
My biggest frustration is the conversation limit. It’s disappointing to get invested in a story only to have the chat interrupted because I’ve run out of gems. It breaks immersion and makes it harder to stay engaged with the characters.
I’d also love to see improvements to long-term memory and character consistency. Sometimes characters forget important details or behave differently than they did earlier in the conversation, which takes away from the experience.
Overall, I think Tipsy has a solid foundation, and I hope it continues to improve. With a smoother conversation experience and more consistent roleplay, it could easily become one of my favorite AI apps.
