What's New in Tiqan
2.0
September 16, 2026
Version 2.0 is the biggest change since launch. Tiqan now trains three different goals, adapts inside a session instead of only between them, and the adaptive engine is free. THREE GOALS, THREE REAL ENGINES Pick what you are actually training for. - Build Strength: the six-level ladder, on 3-day Full Body, 4-day Upper/Lower or 6-day Push, Pull, Legs - Master a Skill: a rung-by-rung ladder to the handstand, front lever, planche or muscle-up. Not strong enough for your skill yet? The plan front-loads the strength you are missing and opens the ladder when you are ready - Move Better: mobility and functional work that rotates through four zones, so you are not repeating the same six moves forever - Keep one goal going, or all three at once IT ADAPTS INSIDE THE SESSION Most apps only adjust between workouts. - Reps falling away mid-exercise? Tiqan offers to stop that exercise there and counts what you actually did, instead of watching you grind out junk sets - Well under your recent numbers after the first set? It offers to finish the day lighter - Once per exercise, always with a decline. It notices; it does not nag THE ADAPTIVE ENGINE IS NOW FREE No trial, no card. Answer a few questions, get a real program, and let it progress you. Pro moves to the depth: all three goals at once, every skill ladder, the top of the strength ladder, the full insight charts, unlimited custom programs and workouts, and full workouts on Apple Watch. Both plans now start with 7 days free. A FASTER START - New setup: goal, days, equipment, experience — then a preview of your real first session before you commit to anything - Calibration replaces guesswork. A few honest rep counts set your starting level per movement, so your push, pull and legs can start in different places, because they usually do - More training days now means shorter sessions, not the same session more often ADJUST A PLAN WITHOUT STARTING OVER Training three days instead of four? Lost the rings? Adjust Plan changes the two things only you can know — how often you train and what you train with — and rebuilds the program around them. Set it permanently, or just for as long as you are away. You see exactly what will change before anything is applied, and your levels and progress carry over. REBUILT ALONG THE WAY - The rest screen is one panel now: form, tempo and effort, one tap each, every one optional, and the reps you logged are editable right there - Progress opens with a single card for wherever you stand in the goal you are training - Recovery now reads sleep, HRV against your own baseline, resting heart rate and energy from Apple Health — and tells you which of them it is actually using today - Programs you archive go somewhere you can find them, restore, or clear out in one pass - Guidance on training safely, in onboarding and in Settings - Exercise animations redrawn so they sit properly on a dark background NOW ON iPAD AND MAC A real iPad layout with a sidebar and a readable column, and the same app on Mac through Designed for iPad. iCloud keeps them all in step. Plus a long list of fixes. Thanks for training with Tiqan.
