Widget

Great device and app. But please add widget support so tire pressure can be viewed while also displaying a map.

Issue after latest update

After latest update you can’t disconnect tow vehicle with out switch vehicle type on settings. Also when you refresh tires you have to close app and reopen in order to see the refreshing. Will heading on trip today will see if tire update while on the road. I will let you know if there is an issue after trip.
1/17 update. Can’t get the rear tow vehicle to reconnect. Even changing vehicle type turning off unit closing and opening and closing the app.

Update 1/24/25
Went to tire minder in Stuart FL they were able to make sure my unit was on the correct firmware even though the unit show otherwise. The issue with the disconnect and reconnect will hopefully be corrected in the next app update. The staff at tire minder HQ were courteous, friendly, and very helpful.

Great Solution But Car Play Does Not work

My old TPMS display was so temperamental and unreliable as such I looked at reviews and found TireMinder to be rated highly. For the most part I really like it. However there are two things that I feel could be better. One: The Car Play app does not work. It just shows the app but no tires. This forces me to take out my phone while driving and look at the alert. Two: The alerts I have to look at relate to the RV being home while I have the truck. That I can understand but the alert generally comes a half hour after I leave the RV. Plus as I mentioned no car play. First time this happened I thought it was a blow out on the truck so I immediately pulled over to look at my phone. I then discovered it was an alert that the Rv tires were not readable. The car play app would have prevented me from pulling over on the freeway.

Limited configurations

I don’t like this app version. Next to no settings options. If monitoring only 4 tires the readouts are small and not adequate. Can’t move them or increase the size. This is all the developers can come up with after 4 years?
I won’t be purchasing this system again. Far better options available.

Warning. Left hand drive vehicles only

I bought the system online from Amazon. Really simple to set up and time will tell how useful it’ll be. The hardware seems fairly solid - even though it’s massively expensive.
Be aware though, the instructions bear little relation to this apps interface. Not a major problem, but many options are not available in this “lite” version of the app.
The biggie however, is there’s no way to set the system up for a right hand drive vehicle. So any warnings will always be for the wrong side of the vehicle. Because the warnings use “Drivers side” and “Passenger side” to identify the tyres, and the app uses a graphical representation, you can’t just swap the sensors over.
Seems like something that would be easy to fix, but it really detracts from the usefulness of the app.

App not working after update

Updated yesterday. The adapter took the update but will not communicate to my iPhone anymore!

I have the Smart TPMS and it has worked flawlessly for over three years on my RV and tow car. The old app was quirky and only allowed you to view one tire at a time. You had to tap a tire icon to view its data which isn’t very safe when driving. This version lets you view data for all the tires at a glance and seems more stable. I gave four stars, would give five if the app worked with CarPlay so you could use Siri to display the tire pressure for even better safety and have everything in one display. The customer service is great too!

Update: wow! They really listen and respond to feedback. I haven’t tried it yet but I just received an email letting me know they updated the app to work with CarPlay. I have always been impressed with TireMinder products and customer care.

Much Improved!

I have the TM Smart TPMS and it has worked flawlessly for a few years but the old app was pretty quirky. The new app seems to work better and I'm so glad they now display the pressure for all the tires rather than one at a time. It's much safer to use because you don't have to touch the screen to view data for a particular tire. I gave it four stars, I would give five if the app would work with CarPlay! Hopefully they will make it work with CarPlay and allow you to call up the screen using Siri, again for safety. Customer service has always been outstanding.
