Wish it would say who’s turn it was during online play. Sometimes I have to count the squares to remember who’s turn it is. A submit button would be nice as well so there’s no accidental plays.

A simple extension to a classic game appears to make it very deep
I've been playing this game against the bot now for a few days. The underlying concept is very simple, but this simple extension to the classic game appears to turn the strategy from very basic to very complex. In the classic naughts and crosses (tic-tac-toe) game there are very simple strategies to make sure you never lose, which, once you master them as a child, pretty much ruins the game. After playing circa 20 games of Tix Tax, however, I'm still struggling to develop a coherent strategy that will allow me to beet the bot regularly on the hard setting. Obviously, such strategies exist as then AI is able to employ them to beet me routinely! Perhaps it needs more play, or perhaps I am just being thick!
Early days yet, but this appears to be a great game, hence five stars. Not sure the idea is original to the developer, but amazing to see what a little creativity and simple adjustments to a time old game can do.
