App crash issue has been fixed.

The latest update has fixed the app crash issue and I’m very pleased with how quickly the developers fixed the issue! I hope the developers continue to make this app a great and helpful app to have!

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words! Bundle updates aren't critical and it won't negatively impact the app or any results if they're a few months out of date.

Essential tech utility

I’ve been using TLS Inspector for years now. Part of my job is managing cert renewals and other security related components for company resources. I use TLS inspector to help validate certificates, including making sure the correct cert is being served and expiration times, etc. from public internet on my phone.

This app does exactly what I need with no fluff or bloat and without drowning me in ads. I consider it an essential tool in my tool belt.

Highly recommend.

2025 UPDATE! Must Have essential security aid for iOS 🔐

2025 UPDATE: It's been at least 10 (!) years since I've been using this app. Times have changed since then (And thankfully, server configurations) It remains unmatched in purpose, functionality, stability, and expertise. Recently there was a massive implementation of something NO OTHER APP does; device CA root certificate updating. Yup, it peeks where no other app dares- Except pretty shady ones. I trust this developer, and appreciate the thought and coding needed to get there.

I downloaded This tool years ago and it’s been on all my devices- testing and personal- as an essential web tool, especially these days with web apps being everywhere. It’s helped me trace down all sorts of inconsistencies, unexpected behavior, and hands down shady stuff… all through the iOS share sheet! From simple double checks out of safety, to hunting down a rotten CA issue this app never fails. Thank you to the dev for keeping it updated and for designing such a great tool. This dev KNOWS certs. I mean, really knows. This isn’t just some easily coded generic utility tool app. You won’t find any other cert apps anywhere near as advanced as this.

Great Tool

One thing I noticed that the Brave browser has that Safari doesn’t have as standard is the ability to check a sites certificate, with this app Safari has that ability too. Many thanks to the developer for this great app!

Needs to be updated and fixed

This is a great useful app when it works, unfortunately its share extension “inspect website” never works with me because of my higher ping and slower internet speed due to using a double hop VPN connection
