About

When labour starts, your midwife will ask three things: how often, how long, and how strong. Tocos answers all three in one simple 10-minute check. Most contraction timers give you an endless, confusing log. Tocos works the way midwives actually assess labour: a focused observation window. Start a session, tap when each contraction begins and ends, rate the overall strength — and get a clear summary you can read straight down the phone to your midwife or birth unit. HOW IT WORKS • Start a timed session (10 minutes by default, adjustable 5–20) • Tap "Contraction Start" and "Contraction End" as they come — that's the whole job • If a contraction runs past the end of the window, Tocos keeps counting until it finishes • Rate the strength: Mild, Moderate or Strong • Get your summary: number of contractions, average length, and frequency ("every 2 min 30 sec") MADE FOR THE MOMENT • Huge, glanceable numbers — readable mid-contraction, at 3am, through tears • The screen stays awake for the whole session • A gentle haptic confirms every tap, so you don't need to look • Designed in collaboration with midwifery practice — it measures what gets asked, nothing else ON YOUR WRIST TOO The Apple Watch app runs full sessions on its own — no phone needed, even with Sleep Focus on. Sessions sync automatically to your iPhone, so the history is always in your hand when you call the birth unit. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. No analytics. Your data never leaves your devices. One simple purchase. No subscription — because you'll only need it for a few weeks, and that should not cost a monthly fee. Tocos is a timing tool, not a medical device. It doesn't monitor your body or provide medical advice. Always follow the guidance of your midwife, doctor or birth unit, and contact them directly if you have any concerns.
