Needs Lots of Improvements
Each page has way too many items to choose from for toddlers. If your child is impulsive, easily distracted by visual stimuli, then this is not the app for you.
It would be nice if there was a menu page to select the number of items per page.
It would be nice if there was an audio label of the item the child selects even when incorrect.
It would be nice if you could select between a play mode and a learning mode.

No sound
Downloaded the app and there's no sounds. Not happy.
Highly D I S A G R E E with "lame" comment
For initial learning, praise is ESSENTIAL no matter the number of tries.
As the child generalizes his knowledge to make the mental match between picture and word -or- correct and incorrect, the child will naturally achieve correct answers with fewer and fewer tries until mastery is gained!!!!!!!
Set up of this App (and their other ones) is POSITIVE reinforcement.
These are all amazing ---- although I **REALLY** want the two "tweaks" made that I mentioned in my review of the Toddler Alphabet and Toddler Questions.
I think the "lame" comment is absurd, and I have a 3 y/o child with special needs and two other children who are gifted learners. Read the reviews of the other APPS in this series to get an accurate view of how thoughtful and insightful these Apps are. I'm so glad I found them.
My daughter is participating in the nationally recognized Literacy Program at "GiGi's Playhouse" in Schaumburg IL ( a Down syndrome awareness center ) and this App will reinforce those concepts while simultaneously stretching her skills in matching, auditory processing, visual recognition, memory, and general vocabulary. The combination of visual and auditory along with POSITIVE reinforcement is a goooooood thing!
Again, r e a l l y want those TWEAKS made.

LAME!
The program allows errors to go uncorrected. Correct responses following errors are not differential (I.e., same level of praise after multiple errors as after initial response correct). Not consistent with best teaching models supported by peer reviewed research.
love the animal sounds
this app is really well done. I love the animal sounds, and that the photos are not cartoons. I hate apps that have cartoons since my children don't learn what the REAL animal looks like. This app is great :)
Love the animal sounds
I love that you used real photos and animal sounds, rather than cartoon pictures like other apps.
Very well done, very simple and easy for my children to pick up

great app for learning and listening comprehension
Super simple, engaging, and interactive. Kids *love* the animal sounds! Very young children have no problem figuring out what to do and they will stick with it. I love reading books with my kids on my lap and having them point out animals on the page -- this app is great for lap-reading, too, but also fun to watch them play on their own.

beautiful app. My kids love it
really well done app, combines really nice pictures (not cartoons), authentic animal sounds, and a very simple interface that my child picked up immediately. I give it two thumbs up. I also recommend the related Toddler Questions Game
