subscription now requires the desktop app

I have been using todomate for the last 5 years and have loved my experience. However, they have recently required a subscription to use the desktop app or website. I’m immensely disappointed that I will need to switch productivity apps now, because I do not want to pay monthly to use what is essentially a checklist.

Premium…

This is still my favorite todo list app, but it’s very disappointing to find out that they randomly put desktop access behind a paywall, especially when I used it so heavily on desktop while I would work.

Stop premiumizing everything

Subscription required to continue using on desktop??? R u joking rn? If this is how you treat long-term users, I’d rather use apple’s original todo app. This is ridiculous.

Why disable desktop for free users?

I do not understand. This was one of my core functions that I needed. Now I am moving out

Need to pay to use on MacBook

I’ve been using this app for 5+ years now and I love it to the core, but I’m so upset and frustrated at the fact that I have to pay for “Premium” to use it on my MacBook.. it makes no sense. I don’t understand the point of paying for a subscription. Anyways, just a bit disappointed

recent updates suck

I'm a long-time user of the free version of todo mate. Recent updates, in particular, the timed ads that take up the entire screen are such a downgrade. It makes the app experience feel cumbersome and low-quality as if not a lot of thought was put into it. Updates should enhance an app experience not worsen it for the user.

The best app I’ve ever downloaded.

My friend introduced this app to me in college and it seriously helped motivate me to complete my tasks. I love how you can see what your friends have accomplished during the day but can also keep some tasks private. I also love how you can change up the colors whenever you want. There are so many features like timers and notes and adding photos. It’s the perfect amount of social and productive. AND THE STICKER REACTIONS ARE SO CUTE.

Stop asking me to rate

Love this app but everytime I open it I can’t check off completed items without it asking me three times to rate the app. So here is your rating.
