This app is terrible… you can’t track your order, and it just seems almost incomplete? It’s super weird
Use the website instead
While it’s better than it was, it’s still a usability nightmare. There are so many sub-pages that you have to go into for no reason. There’s not a way to quickly go to another page. Just plain hard to use.
It also wanted my geolocation even when the app is closed. What is it doing? Why is it stalking me?

Still broken
Tried using the app about a year ago, it crashed. Tried again today and I can’t get past the first registration screen, tapping “next” does nothing.

Don’t waste your time
Don’t bother with the app. I tried to sign up and after entering all my basic info, it won’t even let me tap “Next” no matter what I do. So it’s impossible to sign up and use. iOS 26.3.1 on a 16 Pro. It’s completely useless.
Must make acct to view menu
I wanted to check the menu but the home page of the app doesn’t let you do that without signing up for an account first. So in the time it would have taken me to give YET ANOTHER app my information just to see a menu to find out if I even WANT to eat there in the first place… I came here to write this review and uninstall it instead.

Way too spicy that it burned my lips for hours
The aioli was unbearably hot. I had to toss the whole thing. It’s not usually that hot but it wrecked my mouth and my stomach for HOURS
Does not work
I’ve tried to use this app multiple times to order from Tokyo Joe’s and it never saves my information. I’ve entered and re-entered my email. Very frustrating. Every time I enter my order try to login when I checkout but getting an error. Every time I try multiple times to login so I can save my order and my payment information, but ultimately I either end up checking out as a guest or just going there and ordering in person.

Not what is ordered
They continually mess up our order. One time got no chicken on a white chicken bowl. Also ordered 2X edamame and they only gave us 1.
Requires 5 veggie selections
When placing an order, I should be able to choose 0-5 vegetables and not be required to choose a minimum of 5. I should also be able to select more than 5.

the app was already bad, but these new updates are making them worse. ui is horrible to navigate through and the app doesn't remember your past orders anymore like it used to. difficult to order food
No order history
The latest update removed the order history and the ability to quickly reorder something you’ve already ordered. Especially for the build your own bowls, this is tedious and defeats the point of online ordering. Please consider bringing this feature back. Thank you!!
Fix the app
Haven’t even eaten here yet, but the quality of the app makes me not want to try it. The font color of yellow against the white background makes it almost impossible to read anything on the app. I get it, those are your colors, but it should be about the ease of use for the customers.

The app is extremely difficult to read with orange text on light gray background. Very fussy menu that requiring adding to the basket multiple times. The “remember the credit card” feature doesn’t work - in fact if it’s on, the payment won’t go through. Pls fix.

Unable to use
Does not recognize my email. Will not let me register a new account. Can’t place an order. Terrible!
Your App needs work
Your app needs real work. The color of the font, orange or kind of yellow/orange is extremely hard to read.
Also, your font is too small. And the app doesn’t flow well. Please find a professional to resolve these issues with your app.
Basically what I’m saying, is that your app Looks very amateurish and it’s hard to read.

Very crummy app
It does not work! Have to walk a mile to pick up food.
Great food, terrible app
With so many great developers in Denver, I would have thought this app would have gotten a major makeover by now. The yellow type against a light background makes this app terribly inaccessible for anyone with visual disabilities (or aging eyes!). As others noted, the ordering system is clunky, making you add things multiple times just to get it in the basket. It’s always a toss up whether it remembers my last order or not. And then sometimes won’t even let me change the location midway through adding things to my basket…completely emptying everything making me start over from scratch. Friends, we have been loyal to Tokyo Joe’s since the early 2000’s…this app should reflect the quality of the company and its values instead of whatever this mess turned out to be. Invest in a refresh…it’s beyond time!

App Glitches All The Time & Now You Can Choose Only 1-5 Veggies
Horrible app. It glitches all the time when trying to check out and try adding a card to pay. Even when you have Apple Wallet connected and choose this method to pay, it makes you try adding a card to the wallet when you already have it set up. And now, to make this app even worse, you can only choose between 1-5 veggies to add if you don’t choose the “Top 5 Veggie Mix.” It’s a shame, because Tokyo Joe’s food is delicious. The poor quality of this app will serve as a deterrent for people who wanted to order here.

Great place for celiac & gluten allergy
This place makes the best steak bowls and they’re so carful with my celiac disease and cross-contamination. Plus the GF teriyaki sauce is delicious! I eat here quite a bit and haven’t been sick yet, just make sure you tell the staff about your allergy.
