Translate photos, your camera view, files, text, and speech — all entirely on your device, all working with no internet once your languages are downloaded. PHOTOS AND CAMERA Point the camera and press the shutter, or pick a photo, and watch the translations appear on the image one by one. Translated text is drawn back in place — matching the original's position, colors, and background, so a label still reads like a label. Long-press to select and copy the translated text; pinch to zoom. VOICE Dictate instead of typing — entirely on your device, in over 60 languages. Alongside Apple's speech recognition, Tolk now includes OpenAI's Whisper running locally, which adds around 30 languages Apple can't transcribe, like Bulgarian, Persian, Urdu, Bangla, and Swahili, and helps with distant or noisy speech.
