About
Tollbooth locks the apps you lose hours to. To open them you spend credits, and you earn credits by putting your phone down.
Pick the apps and websites to lock with Apple's Screen Time. Then start a session and set the phone aside. Every minute earns a credit, longer sessions earn a little more, and each finished session ends with a scratch ticket worth a few bonus credits.
When you want to scroll, spend credits on minutes in your locked apps. One credit buys one minute, or set your own price. Lock again early and the minutes you didn't use come back.
Motion mode pauses the clock whenever you pick the phone up. Unlocking an app for good costs credits, and any other rule you loosen waits until the next morning. A daily limit caps your spending. Weekends are half price, and a planned vacation drops minutes to a quarter with your streak frozen.
The countdown sits in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen. When a session ends, Collect there takes you straight to your scratch ticket.
There's no account. Tollbooth never learns which apps you lock or how long you use them: Screen Time hands it sealed tokens and draws the usage numbers itself. Your balance and history stay on your iPhone, backed up daily to your own iCloud Drive.

Tollbooth uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) to lock apps on your own iPhone. It doesn't manage anyone else's device.
