Tomte: Private Assistant

Tomte is a private assistant for your household. Ask it to remember things; codes, dates, who said what, and ask anything back later. It answers on your iPhone, using Apple Intelligence, and what you tell it stays on the device. Pair the free Mac app and Tomte gets dramatically more capable: it reads and indexes your documents and your years of iMessage history, then answers questions about your own life with citations: "when does the car insurance renew?", "what did the contractor quote?", "did the new cards arrive?" all on your own hardware. Private by architecture, not policy. No account. No cloud. No analytics. There is no server of ours, answers are computed on your iPhone or your Mac, and travel between them over your own network, end-to-end encrypted with keys only your two devices hold. The optional web search goes straight from your device to DuckDuckGo with nothing identifying you; switch it off and nothing leaves the house at all. Pay once. No subscription. Requires an iPhone with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later) for on-device answers. The companion Mac app (free, Apple Silicon) adds documents and messages.
