Tonar: FLAC Hi-Res Player

Siri and Spotlight arrive, along with a long list of playback fixes. NEW • Siri and Shortcuts. Ask for an album, a playlist, your favorites, or a shuffle of everything — "Hey Siri, play Kind of Blue in Tonar." You can also ask what's playing and favorite the current song by voice, and drive playback from Shortcuts, the Action button and Control Center. Most useful of all in the car. • Songs in Search. Your library now turns up in iPhone search. Tap a result and Tonar plays it. The index never leaves your device, and there's a switch in Settings › Privacy if you'd rather it stayed out of search entirely. • Sync Sources. Switch this on in Settings › iCloud and the servers and cloud accounts you've added show up on your other devices, so a new iPhone or iPad doesn't have to be set up from scratch. Passwords are never sent anywhere — they stay in the Keychain, so a synced source simply asks you to sign in once. FIXED • A phone call no longer restarts the song. Playback picks up exactly where it stopped, even for a spam call you end after two seconds. • An interruption partway through an album could leave the player silent and stuck, never moving on to the next song. Fixed. • Songs that played silently until you dragged the timeline now start properly. This turned up most often on the first song after opening Tonar, and when jumping to another album or artist. • Streaming could get stuck buffering for good, with no way out but force-quitting. Fixed. • About This Song is far quicker and no longer times out. It is fetched while the song plays, so it is usually ready before you open it. • Downloaded music is no longer part of your iCloud backup. If you have been using Tonar for a while, your backups have been carrying your whole downloaded library — expect them to shrink after this update. • Folder sources (iCloud Drive, Files) now survive restoring to a new iPhone, instead of quietly losing access to the folder. • The sleep timer no longer stalls while you are scrolling. • Repeat One now scrobbles every play to ListenBrainz, not just the first one. • Fixed a crash when deleting songs while their details were still being fetched.
