Everything you could ask for and more.
This has everything I would need and more for a tone generator. It also has some interesting features I was not expecting but am thinking will be very useful. Very glad I opted for this one. Don't believe apple in app purchases label, the developers have made it all available for the initial purchase price which is amazingly little considering haw much functionality you get. Used to use "Tone Generator Pro" before they wrecked it with a complete overhaul. This APP is way better .

Didn't like the UI
The app worked but I didn't find like the user interface. Changing frequencies was a pain. The slider was linear instead of logarithmic, making it impractical since the most useful frequencies are crammed together in a small part of the slider. I'm resuming my search for a useful tone generator.

You supposed to use the touch sensirive surface to select the frequency sliding each digit up or down. It really doesn't get any easier.
Worthless
Could not get it to generate ANY sound. Waste of time, and money. Would give negative stars if I could.

Were you using a bluetooth speaker or headset by any chance? It should work perfectly fine using the inbuilt or wired speaker.

Doesn't keep playing in background
This app is worthless because it stops playing sound when you switch away from it, even with the "Keep Alive" setting enabled in the app. How am I supposed to switch to my RTA app to analyze the results of piping the tones through my PA if this app stops making sound when I switch away from it?!?

Ok, but no Bluetooth support
It works as advertised, but I wanted to use it to test the frequency output of my Bluetooth speakers so I could use that as a guide for my equalizer settings. But the output only goes to the tiny iPhone speaker, not out to the Bluetooth device.
Real good application
You can make all fundamental sound such as sine waves, noises, octave and finding note frequency. If it has harmony function, it'll be the best app of tone generator.

オーディオの測定用の基準信号が簡単に得られるのは良い。しかし、矩形波とのこぎり波は歪が多過ぎて使い物にならない。この点の改善を希望する。
Buggy, ads make it unusable, no airplay
The UI is good but the sound ends up distorted, and it stops playing while it pops up ads.
Must have Home Theater tool
This is the perfect tool for calibrating my home theater! It does need to fix the airplay function. Just not work
Need BT connection
Love this app. More so when equip with A2DP for BlueTooth connection, as an alternative to hard wiring.
Not usable with apple TV
The app is good but its not able to play the sound on the apple TV.

WORKS GREAT
As a retired Broadcast Engineer, I can use this app along with my iPhone 5 as an audio frequency generator. With the appropriate audio cable plugged into my phone, I can do a freq run into my audio console (mixing board).

Ad City! Avoid
All was going well until the latest update. Then, the dreaded Ad disease kicked in. It was so bad that I am deleting it and moving to a competitor. Counter-intuitive, programmer! One star.

Just downloaded and had a play with app, hooked phone to oscilloscope and am very happy to say was surprisingly accurate. will use in the field. Does what it says,
