AMAZING APP - replace your pedals with this. It is very similar to the Helix / HX Stomp workflow, but better. Upgrade to get the parallel signal path and download more NAMs. Totally worth it.
One thing I wasn’t sure about was how to split a stereo effect (i.e. reverb) and send into two different amps panned left and right. When attempting to do this with the parallel signal path, I think the reverb got summed to mono. I might be missing something or hearing incorrectly. Either way, not a big deal regardless the app is a GAME CHANGER.

I’ve been using the app for about a month now so I’ve had more time to play with it. Some suggestions to improve the overall experience (and mimic the Helix):
- Provide an option to reset snapshots upon switching to other snapshots instead of saving changes to the snapshot automatically.
- Disable certain effect blocks or effect parameters from being controlled by snapshots, such as a volume pedal.
- Provide an option for setting min and max values for parameters controlled by expression pedals.
- Disable the guitar input when the tuner is engaged, so when you toggle off the tuner there aren’t any trails from delay and reverb. This isn’t a big deal, I can switch to a different snapshot before tuning.
Anyway, those suggestions would be icing on the cake and would make the app more usable live. Overall, I love this app and I’ve been telling all my friends to get it.

It’s honestly great
I’ve been testing all the Nam loaders/modellers I can find and I’ve settled on this. It is absolutely spot on. Perfect feature set for my needs, tastefully done UX/UI, and no bugs or quirks experienced as of yet. I would honestly give it 5 stars alone for the fact it isn’t trying to look like an amp head or studio space. Hopefully the dev keeps making it better and better, this will quickly start appearing everywhere.

Absolutely Phenomenal Live
Been great using it live. Only thing I wish it could do is have trails on the plug-in effects when they are bypassed. Everyone should spend the $10 and fully use this app.

This app is amazing and i love everything it can do. The only thing i’m missing with this app is some pitch effects, like poly pitch shifter (virtual capo) and maybe a harmonizer to do some dual guitar stuff? And maybe MIDI clock to sync delays to tempo? That would be incredible but with all that it offers now, it’s a serious professional rig that competes with the most advanced processors on the market.

Incredible.
Not sure where to start. Ive been playing 20 years and pretty good with tech, I have a mesa mark v stack. I have a few pedals and running them with 4 cable method , plus the foot switch means so much tap dancing . I have looked at modellers for years and could never justify the cost, and all the other apps on iPad honestly, suck, they are good in one way and than have a feature that’s not there and they themselves are expensive. Tonerig on the other hand - I have my iPad 13 with a xtone pro interface, and exp pedal, and can get every sound in the world thanks too nam a2 and this brilliant app. Honestly mate $14 is a massive understatement of what this app is truely worth, you’ve done a brilliant job. Love how it such an intuitive layout and so very usable live! I really hope this app picks up in popularity, I’ve never done a YouTube video for anything but I’m legit so impressed with this app I really would love to show my experience and conversion from something like a mark v to running nam capture on an iPad into a pa. Brilliant job well done

Top notch guitar app
This is a great app, and so much more than a NAM player. Beautifully simple interface, lots of features, full MIDI control, lots of built in effects but also the ability to run Auv3 external plugins. The full version is incredibly cheap considering what you get, I have used the built in donation link to support this awesome developer.

Wow, this app is beyond anything I expected. Handsdown the best NAM loader on iOS right now. Excellent way of Tone3000 integration!
I especially love how it organizes and manages large NAM packs. No more scrolling through endless lists of profiles - everything is organized in folders. This is what makes this for me a perfect 5 stars since none of the other apps that I use have this feature.
Great signal path editing too and love the built-in effects. Still hoping to see a stereo ping-pong delay and shimmer reverb in the future. But that is not a huge deal since you can load your AUv3 plugins into the signal chain!
The snapshot feature is great and actually works easier and faster than I do snapshots on my Helix. Damn this app is just truly amazing! I can’t wait to see what’s more in store for this app…
May I suggest an XY grid module à la Helix Stadium, but in this case to drag between 4 NAM instances in each corner to blend tones… or for instance other features like XY positioning of amps in the stereo field. Just an idea, since we are able to use 4 NAM profiles. That would be a pretty unique way to use the touch screen to its full potential and use the variety of NAM profiles in an interesting way 😉

Keeps getting better and better
This app was the already the best for NAM, but the updates are fantastic. Each update include a thorough description of new/revised features and the app just gets more and more rich with each iteration. It's a no-brainer.
Setting a new standard
I’ve spent years investing in tons of different AUv3 solutions to get a high quality rig that can live exclusively on my iPad, but this is such a fresh and concise solution. Not having to string together a bunch of things through AUM or other similar apps just to get a great tone, not to mention the nuclear explosion of NAM possibilities as well. One thing I’d love to see is being able to control the panning of the second lane, like having the first lane be purely Left side and second be purely Right, or a customized mode similar to what Helix or BIAS FX does with the different splitters and combiners modules. It would also be wild if we could get multiple path splits, or FX Send & Returns again similar to the Helix where things can get stereo split but then also sent in parallel to auxiliary chains. Big dreams, but for now I’m happy 😍

Loving the app so far but could use some more features to really get more out of it. Would love some more effects based pedals to add down the line or dedicated overdrive pedals so we don’t have to take up a NAM slot. Having more noise gate features (release, threshold, and sensitivity knobs), ability to choose where you want them, and have multiple noise gates would help when trying to use heavy gain amps. Not having those features with the noise gate feels really limiting at times if you have specific tones or bands you are trying to sound like. I would totally recommend this app though and the upgraded version is well worth it in my opinion. Hopefully the app continues to be supported and updated.

Amazing Software
This is the first time I ever feel the need to write a review in the Appstore. Your Software works amazingly well and sounds fantastic. Loaded the first Marshall preset I found in this app and gave it some FX-Love. It already sounds way better than my IR-X-Rig with Boss Waza and UA-Effects. Thank you so much. Now I just need to get around the thought of using my MacBook Air on stage.^^

Best thing for iOS
I bought ToneRig Pro and couldn’t be happier. The tones and effects are amazing the whole thing is freaking awesome! One thing though I tried to add my Eventide micropitch app to the signal chain and the volume of the whole preset dropped and I couldn’t really hear the micropitch any help with this I would appreciate and I still can’t figure out how to get into GarageBand?

I have been searching and experimenting other platform for so long that at one point I had given up, most of them are trying to do so many things. But this one! Is FOR GUITAR! I can finally mix and match Auv3 and load nam with scene switching features..
